VAST The Crystal Caverns Review: Knight, Goblins, Dragon... Cave?

Great overview and tips. This beast lies on my gaming shelf unopened and I'm not prepared yet to try it. Will follow your advice to wait until I can get a fourth player and really learn the rules.

I played my first game of Vast today, it was nice but really confusing at times! Nice review tho! Question: if there is a treasure token on a dark pile, the knights reveals that pile and it is a treasure pile itself, will a second treasure be added?

Good question. Although not specifically covered in the rules as far as I can tell, treasure and other tokens can't be placed somewhere unless it's an empty tile. So in this case, I think the second one from the tile couldn't be placed as it already has a treasure token on it.

@@TabletopDungeon But that would also mean that crystal tokens cant be added if there is a treasure token on a dark crystal pile?

@@swaglord4758 You'd have a crystal and treasure token. That's ok. Dealing with reveal, smash, take treasure would be one perception action for the knight.

@@TabletopDungeon Hey one more question. If i reveal a goblin tribe on a dark tile with a chest, i cant loot it right away and have to wait a turn and use my 1 action from that turn, right?

A second Treasure is placed on the tile, even if there is a treasure already in the Tile
