Nobody moves like Loma in the ring. Just that movement neutralizes lots of weapons his opponents have at the ready. Incredible balance & shiftiness. Everything about him is quick, obviously hands included.
@jackedgeezer44315 жыл бұрын
No one has ever been able to change angles so quickly and capitalize on the opponent's vulnerable position. He is currently the P4P and will remain so for quite a long time, IMO.
@henriht11475 жыл бұрын
@@jackedgeezer4431 oh yeah, he really punishes those clinching and ducking types - man changes position almost every time his opponent lays eyes off him, he has techniques to pull himself out of a clinch to follow up and punish... when they start to duck and present the back of their heads in hopes of gaining fouls, then its sidestep and boom a hit to the side of the face or body, the second the opponent loses sight and goes defensive like that again the dude does another lightning fast sidestep to hit the other side... the dude can literall move circles around other boxers if he wishes, amazing to watch!

@Adam-cj2jg5 жыл бұрын
Martyn Armstrong SRR, Ali, Roy Jones Jr, the 4 kings, LaMotta, etc etc etc? Loma will be up there as top 3 if he continues this way for his entire career, if he becomes a 5 weight champion or more then he's gotta be the GOAT
@Adam-cj2jg5 жыл бұрын
Hey Momma double Olympic world champion, 396-1 amateur record, won gold in 7/8 competitions, fastest two weight world champion ever... the guy is already a hall of famer, he can definitely be a top 3 boxer of all time
@Adam-cj2jg5 жыл бұрын
Hey Momma what are you talking about? I like a lot of fighters, Usyk, Pac, RJJ being boxers I like, all of which will be/are HOF in boxing. I just think the way Loma fights, footwork, boxing IQ and ability, puts him up there with the very best of all time. Don't bother mentioning canelo when he's a drugs cheat, and if amateur boxing is so easy, why have so many top professional boxers never won a thing in the amateurs apart from regional competitions? The thing that sets Loma apart from all the other current fighters is he goes after belts and good fighters consistently. He's not like typical American boxers who fight 30+ uber drivers and tomato cans before they step up. The guy stepped up in his second fight for a world title. And he took Rigo who has been consistently ducked by everyone and is regarded as one of the best boxers of his generation. I'm a fan bcuz he does things the old school way, and isn't obsessed about having an 0. I still think SRR is the best boxer of all time

Two Olympic gold medals. Two World Am gold medals. One European Championship gold medal. Two World Junior Championship gold medals. An amateur record of 396-1 (loss avenged twice) and a pro record of 12-1 (loss entirely undeserved). Fastest three-weight champion in the history of professional boxing, and fastest to win three titles (in eleven fights - his fourth will come next month, after which he will break another record despite returning from injury). Lomachenko is, put simply, a phenonemon and yet he is still regarded by some as 'overrated'. Some of these clowns are racists who can't stand to see a white man succeed. Others are morons who know nothing about boxing. The truth is, Lomachenko, Crawford and Inoue are a cut above the rest. No one else comes close to them today. We are lucky to be alive when they are, and lucky to be able to see them fight. All of them will rank highly on the all-time p4p list.

@Hey Momma: every style is 'exposable', including Bud's - he was getting tagged repeatedly in the first four rounds against Benavidez, and would have lost that fight if Benavidez had a world-class inside game. As for Canelo, don't make me laugh. That cheating scumbag has already lost twice, against GGG and Lara, and gets his sham victories courtesy of home town judges. Salido is another juicehead who deliberately failed to make weight for the Loma fight and then walked into a 126 contest weighing 148. He then relied on Lawrence Cole, a corrupt Nevada judge, to gift him a hollow victory after a succession of low blows - read the apologies Cole gave to the boxing press the day after if you don't believe me. Ripped the body? Try nut-shot his way to a decision, then turned down a rematch with the highest purse of his career because he knew what would happen if he was forced to actually fight by the book. As for Linares, he has a four-inch reach advantage and lightning fast hands. Lomachenko tore his labrum in the second round of their fight. He's a southpaw, which means he's susceptible to the straight right and yet he still dropped Linares with a liver shot in the tenth. You talking about Mikey Garcia is certainly ironic. Linares had been calling out Mikey Garcia for three years. Not only that, their unification was mandated by one of the boxing authorities (I forget which) but Mikey decided to VACATE his belt to avoid facing Linares late last year; he fought that ex-kickboxer instead. Now he's about the sabotage his entire career by facing the strongest welterweight on earth. No idea why, but he knew at the time and knows now that Linares is a dangerous fight for anyone at LW and Lomachenko is more dangerous.
