Loma said right after the Ortiz fight he needed more training. I think Loma goes back to his toughest training techniques to prep for Haney. He knows this time the odds are against him as he’s lost years of boxing in his prime and these young kids at 135 are coming for him and some even calling him old I believe in you Loma. I think Loma has become a good inside fighter, Haney likes to grapple vs Lopez using his size and shoving loma back. I think Loma will catch sneaky inside shots on Haney and hurt him. Haney vs top boxers Jojo diaz or even 37 year old linares. He jabs, and holds. I just think Haney isn’t strong enough to keep loma off him. Kambosos has no footwork. The guy is off balance all the time plus loma is a southpaw. I think people are going to be surprised by how loma looks vs Haney. Go back and watch the teo fight. Lopez was able to shove loma back, Haney isn’t as strong as lopez

I'm not sure how to feel about Loma against someone like Haney for example. As much as I love Loma, I think Haney's style wouldn't allow for Loma to show off all his amazing foot work effectively. I honestly don't know

It’s a tricky fight but Loma can take it. Haneys jab won’t be as effective against the southpaw. Also for reference, watch Jojo Diaz(southpaw) vs Haney. By round 3 he was able to get inside on Haney and work real good. Loma can also hurt Haney.

I personally believe Lomas style would make it significantly difficult for someone like Haney to get much off. Unless Haney makes huge adjustments to his form and style, I'd probably only see him winning if he overpowered Loma like he did Kambosos. Haney's incredibly young still so I think he'll get better with time though.

Loma has to know that success isn't about boxing technique as much as it is ring experience, strategy and timing. Technique becomes moot the smaller you are compared to your opponents, because none of your punches land. Technique is not a bad thing, but Loma has to be training the other facets of the game. And stop putting earmuffs on against larger guys who can deliver more hook power to the head, quicker and more efficiently than smaller opponents. You never see those hooks coming, not against Campbell, and not against Haney.
