The A Scholar by the name of Constantine Simonides, an excellent Scholar in ancient Greek, and a Calligrapher, one of the most adept forgers of the 19th century, claimed to have authored the “manuscript,” while he spent time at Saint Catherine's Monastery. He was contemporary with Tischendorf, who discovered Simonides Manuscrpt in Saint Catherine’s Monastery and named the Manuscript “codex Sianaticus,” Which makes the claims of Teschendorf suspect (You can bring up information about Constantine Simonides on the internet). This is one of the main manuscripts used by Westcott and Hort, to challenge the King James Version of the Bible. Simonides said, “It was done in my youth while I was at the Monastery and had many flaws.” S

I'm so confused by these comments hating on David Daniels because he says we should not sin. What's wrong with us!? The Pharisees preached the law (though they didn't follow it themselves truly) and denied Christ. Today we denounce the law and (apparently) preach Christ. Yet Jesus Christ himself preached the law. Are we not supposed to uphold the law AND preach Christ? Jesus then said: "If ye love me, keep my commandments". He also said: "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." What about: "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."... why are people promoting to continue living sinful lives? I know it's hard but it's not impossible. Surely we should strive to live sin free. Why is there so much confusion on this?

If there is anything I have learned about KJV onlyists, because I used to be one, it's that they absolutely will not accept any other TR translation. They reject the NKJV, MEV, and they would probably reject the LSV. If anything is translated differently from the KJV, even if it is a TR translation, they claim it's a corrupt translation. They won't accept a KJV update because they believe the KJV translators translated the text the correct way every single time something could be translated multiple ways. Most of the KJV onlyists are just Ruckmanites in disguise.

@@danofsteel9092 I see a significant difference between most KJVO believers and followers of Ruckman/Riplinger. Most KJVO folks share the difficulty in seeing the Bible as a translated text with non-KJVO believers. Their translation tradition exacerbates this difficulty, but it isn't unique to KJVO. Conversely, Ruckmanites have no difficulty about translation; for them it's English über alles. In any given conversation a mainstream KJVO and Ruckmanite will usually come to the same conclusion, true enough. But their Bibliological bases are significantly different.

I am not surprised by the emergence of a plethora of "modern" versions. The inerrant King James Bible is the Old and New Testaments preserved by the LORD in their entirety and therefor infallible in the lingua franca of our contemporary world. The Lord Jesus Christ said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last" (Revelation 22 : 13). Everlasting salvation from sin by grace through faith in Him alone testifies of His eternal holiness. The credible forensic evidence documenting His death, burial and Resurrection speaks for itself to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit on earth and in heaven also. The Lord God omnipotent knows everything about us, and that has nothing to do with dynamic equivalence regardless of language.

IF THE LORD TOLD YOU ONCE, HE TOLD YOU A HUNDRED TIMES WHAT THE PROPER RESPONSE TO HIS SACRIFICE AND RESURRECTION IS. Keeping the law/ turning from sins is a false gospel. When you get right with Him, you will throw away those boxes of Chick Tracts and warn everyone against that false gospel like I just threw away called The Sissy. There is no perfect Greek Manuscripts since the Latin Bible is become the bible for more than a thousand years setting aside the Greek Manuscripts since the second century. Therefore, most Greek Manuscripts were copied by individuals rather than a church copy like the Latin Bible. Copyist errors were the result. The Latin Bible is the perfect copy of the original Greek Manuscripts in Latin language. Erasmus TR and the editions were the restored copy of the Greek Manuscripts.

I don't give Daniels a pass on his false gospel. His scholarship on the history of the Bible and linguistics is pretty good in defense of the Bible. Giving credit where it's due. I haven't heard many others reveal the fact about the appearance of the Sinaiticus stain.

@@matthew28-acts238 My Dad had a display of Chick Tracts on the wall of his barber shop for decades. Read them all and we never got saved. After a soul winner explained the true gospel and proper response. Ie. Gospel of John, Ephesians 2, I trusted Christ to save me. I then took the effort and time to order all the tracts in that series to share with others. I could not because of the stern warning in Galatians as well as the fact I didn't want to make anyone a twofold child of hell. Most are ok until you read the last page. Then they falsely teach a works based salvation. I just found an old one that I still have. Title, The Sissy. "What do I do to wash away my sins?" He asks. Rather than a verse like Acts 16:30-31, instead he gives the false definition of "Duke...REPENT. THAT MEANS TURN FROM YOUR SINS..." After that the tract repeats that lie 2 more times! The false witnesses add "from your sins" to their false gospel. They make salvation, not just about Jesus'sacrifice, but ADD obedience to the law in attitude and/ or actions. That's hidden in their code word repent. The KJV does NOT say "of your sins," but the fake book of Mormon does. Daniels knows better than to add the Mormon command to the gospel. He owes it to others and to God to read the book of John and see what the only proper response to the Lord is for salvation. If you are reading this Mr Daniels, underline every use of the word believe (the,s,d) and add the sum. At the end of John you'll find that IF GOD TOLD YOU ONCE, HE TOLD YOU A HUNDRED TIMES! Now is the time to get right with God, throw away those wretched boxes of tracts and put the RIGHT gospel on each and every one. You nearly sent my Dad to hell and many more. 😠

Sina & Vati like many newer translations are to be read with caution. If you're a Cath then compare your new Cath Bible to the old Catholic Vulgate & Duoay Rheims Bibles. If there's a difference then stick with the old. If you're a Pros then rely on the KJV and use the newer Bibles as a comparison.

This is a logical fallacy. Catholics act like the whole world is indebted to the Roman Catholic church for the existence of the Bible. This is just another one of their attempts to exalt the church as some kind of authority in addition to the Bible. The reality is the Bible is inspired and has authority, not because a church made it so, but because God made it so. God gave us His Word by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and declared that it would abide forever. Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The Catholics are absolutely wrong in their assumption that the Bible is authoritative simply because of the Catholic Church. The Bible does not owe its existence to the Catholic Church, but to the authority and power of God. Either the New Testament is the authority or its not. If it is the New Testament then it can't be the church, and if it is the church, it cannot be the New Testament you can't have it both ways. **Also just an fyi, if hypothetically a person was stranded on a deserted island and all they had was a bible, there's no way they would ever be Catholic.
