These sort of impromptu (although this is not the best example) vaults you run together with others really make my days . They are nice, chill, and the banter is just incredibly enjoyable. Co-ops don't have to be planned or even have much content in itself, just doing something together and talk is what I really enjoy watching. I am positive towards vault hunters, but I will be honest that that's not really why I keep coming back to your vods, the interactions are seriously a reason. (Although, I also enjoy your ramblings, so your personality is also a big reason)

An idea about shared bounty’s. Have a “team” bounty table at the opening vault room. The bounty would be specific only for that vault but the team would be able to help with the bounty. The bounty would be awarded at vault exit if it’s completed. Basically adding a second vault challenge to the current vault.

Have you thought about just making the relics less powerful (or just do nothing) on Hard mode only, so they're still available as collectables for the likes of Etho? I'm nowhere near as fast at vaulting as you guys - those extra few minutes really make a difference in my ability to actually complete vault objectives (especially bloody Scav vaults haha), I'm gonna be cheating in a lot of oranges if nothing's added to replace them ^_^;

I think the core problem is that the balance is built around 27 1/2 minutes - on all difficulties.

Would it be too difficult to indroduce another bouty table, a Bounty Bulletin Board where two or more people can sign up for the same bounty. Like wild west style?

Would only work on a multi person server though and not everybody plays like that. As a solo it could break the game as extra income

The reward could go up the more people take on the bounty. Only one gets the reward in the end so it would still be balanced. And solo you would simply get the normal reward.

I love this too. Also love how it gives us more Etho content. Great creator and gives the content to the creator. Just like how he gave it tango in DO2. People don’t realise how good this is from Etho. He has the following but gives it to others who created the games whilst giving honest ways to Improve. A true OG of the game and a true gamer who appreciates the work and effort others put in. As weird as it sound but like dream did on The Dream SMP. He didn’t stream or post videos to promote others who made the content even Though he was the biggest. I’d love more Etho content but I get why he doesn’t post more

These little challenges on the SMP are so fun. For the relics, I really like collecting them but once you get them all I get your point about game design. Maybe make building one a temporary buff for the next X number vaults. Essentially the same as giving fruit for each relic but it doesn't stack as high. Possibly that will be perceived as just a nerf though.

I honestly think you should bring back the old boss vaults. Not like it used to be but similar. Not even sure how different but they were fun. A general way you could die and that risk was fun as it was huge bosses who attacked differently depending what boss it was. If it’s not a vault it should be summable for bonus chests ect evt. Making it worth it as seeing you all go through mobs now doesn’t seem threatening

I love these videos, and after watching your echo vault with Etho, I had an idea for elixir vaults. What if for all the elixir you collect after you complete the bar, it adds something to some stat that gives you better loot or something. Like you could make the completion crate better, or maybe you have a smaller elixir bar that isn’t needed to complete the vault, but gives you a positive effect in the vault.

Maybe a new table for team bounties? You can only see bounties on it if you are in a team? Or, as you stated, choose who you share your bounty with? Then the question would be if it has a fixed reward or if it's semi-random like a vault completion crate? Maybe a combo of both, so there is a fixed reward and maybe one random slot that can be any vault loot item, from vault meat to an echo pog(just to give some incentive to gamble and do group bounties). You could make group bounties be more difficult than normal bounties to justify the greater reward.

Wait, so the chaos thing essentially makes the vault like the old vaults? I remember commenting early on in this version that I missed the variety in the rooms within a single vault. Awesome to know that it’s still in the game!

You can craft three random theme augments to make the chaos augment, which is just as random (random rooms, tunnels, and chests) but doesn't have all the bonuses or negatives.

Chaos vaults are my favourite to run. And I'm a solo player. I always buy them or select them in bounties. They're tough to come by but it is meant to be a special vault.

A big server wide bounty board that adjusts how much is offered depending on player size and offers coop would be sick

The team bounties could be similar to lost bounties, maybe you have to find them as an item. Then, they could be activated similarly. The table could just drop the second item for your teammate on top of the table when you activate it

Iskall for the relics you make it so that each relic gives a specific buff. Ex: dragon relic makes your black market luck 1.15x better and warrior relic makes your bounty luck 1.15x better. All tiny things that make a difference but arnt super OP when vault running.

Scavs are great except there's never enough time. Not in my (limited) experience playing them, and practically every time I see Iskall and/or Etho playing them, they have to kiwi/orange/lemon to finish them because there's not enough time.

Honestly if you're concerned about the weird multiplayer aspect of relics and how only the first guy going in counts why don't you have the relic buffs apply when the player crafts the crystal? That also lets you play with what relics do. Maybe some boost time while others give +10% trap disarm or +30% dungeon chance or something? The individual relics can still be powerful but stacking them becomes less of an issue.

For relics, how about reducing them to 15 seconds per relic formed and they only work on unmodified crystals. This would give bonuses to running unmodified crystals without making modified ones even more crazily strong. It'd also be a way to nerf the system pretty harshly without fully removing its value for those that enjoy it

In regards to power scaling, you could implement a system, e.g. for every 500 vault dwellers you kill, you do 1% extra damage against them (on top of whatever your current damage is). The damage bonus stays with you for the life of your world.

In Fortnite, there was a Season where you could activate a few of your own challenges to be shared amongst your squad when you entered a lobby. Maybe that could be added in some way for bounties? The friend who helps may not receive the rewards but can gain the xp.. And you can put a limit. Say, 3/5 bounties can be shared with friends in vaults per week. That way it ensures they look over which bounties they want to share and which ones they want to accomplish alone

what if you could safe a bounty to a bounty pearl and then give that bounty to someone else, for instance someone on the server is like oh man i really need item X and then the other person pagging goes like hmmm I do not have item X BUT I have a bounty for item X I don't want to do it BUT you could do it!!! AH? AH? pagging! yes sir Iskall that would be great. They would be able to put that bounty pearl in their table using it up (that is where cracked pearls come from) and then do the bounty. sharing is caring

I think next time you do this you should make the rule that you can't loot after fruit, but the opponent can. Then it would turn into a game of chicken on who would fruit and give the opponent more time to loot.

Idea I just think of if you think is interesting: You can add some kind of very rare items like with 1/1000000 that gives you some effects it could be a skins for swords or something like that or gives a vault plus 1 minute but to be very very rare, and you could add achievements and stats for whole playthrough how many hours you played vault hunter how much you used your abilities and opened chests and may be how much times lucky hit procs something like that you get the idea

i would love if the relics gave benefits based on your difficulty so that if you wanted to play with the increased time you could play on easier difficulties or something of the like. my computer is kind of a potato and that extra relic time helps as a buffer for all the lag i have to deal with :/ Vault time is always something i struggle with so i try to give myself as much as possible, perhaps doing that at that at the loss of some other benifit would be a way of balancing relics

Honestly didn’t think False would take this as serious than then she has. Thought a few others would pass her easily but then she’s in the top 4 of the HC playing. I love Wellsknigjt and wish he played more on HC but he’s more of a solo player. People like XB and Hypno are great for the server too as they put things down into Layman’s terms for some beginners. With more would but it looks like only you, Etho, Stress and False and maybe XB, Hypno and Wells will be taking on the final boss. Honestly love this 100 days and will be gutted when it ends

What if there was a global bounty table instead where there are bounties that all players can turn in, bounties that players all compete to complete, and bounties that everyone works together to complete. Have bounties be server events instead where everyone helps or competes.

Trapped chests don’t count. If you open five and one is trapped the counter will say you got four. And there’s no way to put a negative percentage of anything on a tool.

Completion crate upgrades! You can choose to turn in a previous crate to run another, more difficult vault for a better crate! If you fail, you lose everything!
