As someone who studies human behavior and culture, I can, in fact, confirm that yawning has a "contagious" effect on other humans. One theory is due to how yawning helped signal to other members that it was time to rest as well as to others more alert to be vigilant since there were less individuals watching for potential threats. As a Brit, specifically English, I have to agree with Iskall about the phrase "fair enough" being so dismissive and disinterested. Whenever someone says it to me, I immediately know they have zero interest in what I just said. But on the flipside, it's great because it's an excellent way for me to feel like I'm telling someone I don't give a damn about what they're on about and not be called out on it.

I wouldn't say the 'where're ya headed?' question is all that dumb. You both may land at the same airport, but barring layovers you're not staying there. Someone may have a connection flight, another may be taking a transport to a smaller town nearby, and someone else might just be headed home to the city the airport is located at. All three have different answers, you see, and likely can be broken down more granularly from there. 😛

3:45 Being a KZbinr is being an entertainer. Colloquially sportscasters who "just watch and talk about sports all day" are viewed as being a "real job", while today KZbinrs aren't. That said, it's definitely a generational attitude, with perceptions being more favorable every year. In my mind, KZbinrs have a very real job, many of the skills required for successful videos and channels are applicable to resumes, it is not just talking to the camera. You need to be proficient with some combination of cameras and recording software, video editing, photoshopping a thumbnail, marketing your video, developing your brand, managing merchandise, running your own website, and much more. And even if you don't do all of this, and instead have another member of your team do some of it, or pay someone outside your team, you're gaining experience managing someone else.

Genuinely, I don't want to look up anything about the Shoe People. Anything real will ruin the idea and images and weirdness that Stress has uploaded into my brain. I agree with you re: travelling again. I've only travelled within my province to another city I often visit (3 hour drive) and that's it. Last time I was on a plane was November 2019. I just don't want to go anywhere anymore, I guess. Maybe one day that'll change. Wow, I am shocked by something you said?! You went to a Christian school for a few years even though your parents were not religious? Somehow I'm not that surprised though, you've always seemed to have well-rounded knowledge of the world and other people around you; this is likely part of it. If only it worked the other way though. My parents were super religious - I would have looooved to go to public school.
