That's called "damning with faint" praise, my dude. You've basically just admitted chicken is only good when you lower your expectations for it. It's not as if you can't make snack foods out of the other forms of meat. You definitely can. But making chicken an actual meal requires so much additional processing. If you just bake it, it's easily the blandest meat you can prepare. Jerky, deli meat, sausages, smoked fish, etcetera works just fine for the other meats. But chicken can't go the other direction to actually be good on its own merit. With cod or something, you can just bake a filet and have it turn out amazing. With a steak, you can pan sear it and rest and it'll turn out amazing. Chicken just winds up dry and boring unless you season the fuck out of it or roast it until it's falling apart. Or you cheat and deep fry it because it's just so dry that you have to basically boil it in oil to soften it up. As Heem has said, if you're just using it as a sauce-delivery mechanism -- I mean noodles already do that. So does tofu. Chicken has no advantages over them. And sauces can be added to other meats as well without needed to actually disguise the flavor of the chicken itself. Oh you want to bread your meat? _Pork._ But pork is also versatile enough that you can do other things with it. About the only place where the natural umami of chicken is actually any good is in soups or stock. But then again, _that also applies to every other kind of meat._

I was a Texas toast kind of guy for the longest, when it came to steaks, grilled chicken, pork tenderloin, etc., so I figured I'd want the same when it came to BBQ. I'd always give my bread away and just eat extra fried potatoes/cheesy hash/baked potato to fill up. One day I was super hungry and my plate came with a slice of bread anyways, so I tried it out and HOLY $+€£ my mind was blown. No idea the science behind it, but those giant fluffy pieces of bread just WORK with BBQ.

Where can you get street nuggies? I like nuggies but that sounds disgusting. I think heem thinks vuash orders nuggies from fast food chains like McDonald's but he just makes them at home in an oven.
