Use the plastic weld staples you used on another bumper repair video I seen on your channel and just bend them on a 90° angle then use your soldering iron to melt them into the plastic and for extra security use some tiger seal or something it will probably end up stronger than it was from factory. All though this video is older now so I'm assuming you've probably fixed it now hahaha I haven't watched for a while because I haven't had the time. 😢 I've missed the retro restore channel now I have quite a few videos to watch! 😁 This channel is definitely one of my favourites channels on KZbin

If I am not mistaken, they make a two part resin for that type of "plastic" and you could get some and mix some up to reenforce those end parts. Just and idea...

Also your astra front bumper has a left and right lower plastic Skirt which clips in the lower half of your front bumper. It’s two individual parts. Which you need

Hi Martin I used some Gorilla super glue to repair my shower mixer the stuff is super strong.

Worth a little bit the bumper extension , normally bonded on with plastic fixings

Why not use gentle heat to heat up the glue or tiger seal

I have broken lug on my rear bumper but the rest is nice and secure but plastic is one of my pet hates.

Try using cable ties when trying to make a joint with plastic it works. 👍👍 ie Zip Ties

Yes the Irmscher fronts look nice but catch on everything which is why i had to take mine off too, There is a black plastic trim that attaches to the bottom on the cars without the Irmscher front splitter, the splitters are still worth a few quid too.
