Hi what color spring did you put in ?

I would like to upgrade my standard recirc valve for the Forge recirc, is it save to do without getting error codes or motormanagement/limp mode kicks on? Just plug and play with in my case the green spring? Reason for me is, i lose boost earlier since i put on a HKS dump valve and blocked off the oem recirc. My car isnt mapped, so i got rid of the HKS and its build back to original. Think it leaks now, car drives great with the standard recirc but i lost some boost power…it boosts shorter so it might blow off preasure to fast now. Long story short….is it safe to just switch to the forge? Thanks Richard

In my experience it is very safe and now with these cars getting to this age a requirement. The old rubbers are breaking down inside and everyone I know that has done this upgrade has had nothing but good words to say. So I say get it done and let me know how you get on

Yes mate, it was making a right flutter until I changed this valve, I would recommend doing it

@@jpkmotors4336 . I bought a project car . Engine and gearbox all just been done. The only thing is needed for big power is valve springs and bigger turbo but I can't see the point it's 300bhp now so that plenty for me. Going to uprate disc's n pads and rear strut first then start on body. But I think they ain't bad cars.. kicked a few arses in it already🤣

Nubie Bob there does get to a point where you can have too much power, especially in FWD cars but long as your having fun it doesn’t matter.

I have the nurburgring edition and was chasing a leak for 3 months. I was new to the z20 scene so was scouring the forums for ages but I had the same issue as you. I replaced everything with turbosmart with branded intake all pipes hoses ect. Just to eliminate the recirc I opted for the ebay special recirc valve with blue spring as I'm stage 2 300bhp and it's perfect believe it or not 🤣

Think the problem is with eBay you never know what your getting, I have had good and bad stuff from there so it’s a strange one
