My Corsa D 1.0 ecoflex will sometimes crank and not start the first time but always fires up the 2nd time. Changed plugs (which after only 2 weeks show signs of over fueling), changed coil pack, injectors, cleaned throttle body and new oil and filter. Fuel pump primes and pressure fine. Changed air flow meter. No fault codes. Any ideas if its worth changing the crankshaft sensor? Thanks

When fitted do ya have to do anything else such as plug a scanner in or is it simple plug and it's drivable

My Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 10 plate had an amber engine management light on the dashboard and the car was running sluggish. A friend with an obd tool diagnosed P0014-00 Exhaust Camshaft Position Range/Performance (Bank 1), after watching this i ordered a replacement sensor from gsf car parts for £19.20 and the Female 10E TORX socket was £3.99 from halfords cars sorted for

@@King786_ yes it can, if you connected diagnostic scanner possible chance it’ll show up there also (not always)

I have a fault code p0017 Camshaft position Correlation,I changed the sensor at the end of the cam for the exhaust side,the engine light still coming on,it had a new chain last year and the engine light still on,would it be worth changing the camshaft sensor? The car seems to drive fine 🙈

Have you tried clearing the fault code via obd?

@@waqashussain2310 was something to do with the timing who ever fitted the chain had not adjusted it correctly,now runs perfectly and no engine light

probably a good idea to lube the rubber seal with a little oil just like an oil filter.

Corsa C, crank no start, no codes. Fuel 50psi, throttle body removed, cleaned, maf sensor sprayed with maf spray, crankshaft sensor replaced, plugs replaced. So thinking of checking map, coil, and cam sensor if I can find it!! Ideas would be much appreciated!

Timing Chain possibly mate. Mine had the same. Changed everything and it was timing chain.

​@@patalenoThanks. Its the ecu. Destroyed by oil coming from the oil pressure sensor switch. The garagist said his usual contact says the ecu is 'special' and had to be sent to the only shop in France that can deal with it: it needs replacing at 600€ and a bill of 200€ for him. He says it's a Bosch. I took photos of it in situ before he took the car to his shop. It has loads of numbers which I don't have a clue about and it says GM (nothing about Bosch). So I've been waiting for 2 weeks to decide what to do. Thanks again.

@@johncollins8304 think you can get them programmed here. Do a search on google for ECU and get a second opinion. Seems pricey that.

Hello, my vauxhall corsa ecoflex 2012/displays the engine light and was scanned to show error P0011 code. I have gotten a new camshaft sensor from Euro part but disconnecting the cable from the old sensor is a big problem, can you guide with this please?

So if your connector is stuck I would suggest spraying brake cleaner clean it up and then spray wd40 on the connector if you then get a pic tool or a flat head screw driver you may be able to remove easier that way, if you do get stuck and need further help please comment and let me know I’ll make a video on how to remove connectors if stuck for you

Hello there. Just changed cam sensor on corsa d 2007 1.6 petrol. Initially had wrong part from gsf web site now have correct identical to old part and it won’t start.. unplug the sensor and it starts straight away, plug it back in and it won’t start. Please help. 😎🤙

Have you matched part numbers on the new part

Couldn’t match as numbers not visible. Gsf said will fit as matched engine number apparently… looks identical in every way. Alternative on website did not fit. Barrel was to long

@@stevetriplecrown I don’t really use GSF personally due to then supplying us with wrong parts in the parts hence why I believe the part you have is not correct, have you trie running a diagnostics scan on the car once it fails to start to determine it’s not getting a plausible signal from cam sensor

Went Back to GSF to exchange sensor as I suspected first one could be faulty and she fired right up…. Thanks for your input and also for posting video which showed me how to change it… much appreciated…
