The annoying thing is the top model ev doesn't have adaptive cruise control or electric front seats but the top ice does!

I just got gone for a week. The battery does drain fast on motorways especially if you’re in sport. But the regenarative breaking does at a bit of energy. It surely is fun to drive. Especially in cities. Not regretting the purchase (yet).

How has it been after a year mate?
@atohms2 жыл бұрын
@@ThePocoyo96 it’s been more than ok. As far for city driving it’s a bomb. Cold temperatures do suck & take a hige toll on milage. But my new mantra is load whenever you can. & then it’s just plain fun. Unless you want to drive +200km… and that’s not in winter time. Overall fast charging does work & who travels +100kms daily. Superfun toy. Flooring it on a green light never get’s old. #lightspeed

Just two years later and you can now get a 20 reg Vauxhall Corsa e like this one from as little as £12k!

Brave pricing, or a reflection of how much Peugeot cross charge Vauxhall for using 'their' platform?
@phil84374 жыл бұрын
All of these small electric cars are still far too expensive. When you consider these cars still have a lot of compromises such as limited range/price and charging them up. My money would go on a Lexus UX hybrid. I have seen UX's for sale for the 30k mark. You get a far better car for the money, superior build, more space and great customer support and with very few compromises. I think the right price for these small electric cars should be around the 22k mark for the top spec versions. Thanks for a very comprehensive review as always.

A car should represent freedom, and an average ev's range limited by charging, and the excessive purchase price do not represent freedom. Too much money for a simpler machine.

@@iconicshrubbery A car should represent the ability to move a required volume of cargo, humans included, between two points in a reasonable time with acceptable safety and economy. Anything else is advertising that manufacturers want you to believe to persuade you that your perfectly acceptable existing vehicle needs to be replaced. It's absolutely true that this vehicle, and possibly any other EV, may not satisfy those needs for many. But it's got nothing to do with 'freedom'.

Over 100 Elite Nav's sitting with delivery miles or pre reg at £25,000. Most models? There are only SE Nav on 16's or the Elite Nav, so no other models. They need to shift them. Mostly in the horrible Blue or Orange. Actually you do not need to be in ECO or Normal to get a very good range if you are on roads where you can point and squirt and re-gen. Then the WLTP range can be beaten.

31k for a Corsa. Nice it is but your typical Corsa buyer hasn`t got 31K
@georgewalker70613 жыл бұрын
It is quite annoying that reviewers like this do not take cars on a long trip and use the different choices of ECO, Normal & Sport on roads that are not Motorways or Dual Carriageways. If they have no Friends they should maybe load the car with 300 kg weights to simulate carrying people and stuff and then see that the range really can be which is rubbish or brilliant depending on how driven. But one thing is for sure, if your max speed limit is 60 mph and you drive smart the range can be the same if using 136ps, 101 or 80 ps. If you are not going more than 150 miles then why not enjoy the car and drive in Sport & B and see just why in ECO is not the way you need to use the car.
@watcher246014 жыл бұрын
Using Sport or Eco has limited effect on range compared to how it is driven. Around town less than 40mph 200 miles range is achievable even in sport mode. Drive at 70mph up the motorway and 150mph is more realistic. Eco mode will cap that top speed and isn't a meant to be used on the motorway. Zoe ZE50 goes further, not due to efficiency but mainly due to its larger usable battery capacity.
@georgewalker70613 жыл бұрын
I assume you mean 150 Miles. As to ECO capping the top speed, not with my e-Corsa. DRAGY shows it at 94 MPH.

No mention of ride quality or interior noise levels?

Ride quality is really good. And the interior noise is also subpar. Only been driving one for a week now, but I’m still more than thrilled with my purchase. Above all it’s really fun to drive.

As the above mentioned ride quality is very good, interior noise I haven’t noticed anything. Pricey car but worth it.

@Mariahs 2nd lamb they are the same car. But i do not like the sci-fi cockpit of the peugeot and the exaggerated looks. The Opel has just enough bite to it ;) either way the driving experience should be the same & equally fun!
