Mark is it because the chassis leg is banged up a millimeter or 3 or is it got a minute twist??

A plastic fuel flap is not the best guide for a metal paint match. You should use the old damaged wing for a better paint match. Painted plastic always appears to come out at least 1 shade darker. That driver side front door and wing really looks like they've already been repainted in the past. Darker shade stands out quite a bit when you had it outside btw.
