Vauxhall Tigra .... Resetting the windows when they won't auto drop.

Today i try a different approach to fixing the Tigra window drop problem .. Is it fixed ???...well....

Unfortunately I have now sold it on ...But would love to find another cheap one to fix up....I secretly enjoyed doing it .. but on the positive side the guy who brought it loves it too ... 😉

Hi Ade, priory to not working, did you hear a subtle 'click, click, click...' coming from behind the door card, days before this happened? Mine has recently failed to auto-drop upon door open and I'm wondering if the same thing happened to you?

Hi Ade, thanks for the videos! I have the same issue with the wife's Tigra, though its just the passenger side that doesn't work. I have ordered an opcom with the latest software which comes on a mini CD - I trust it is just an executable program that can be copied to a USB Stick? my laptop doesn't have a darn CD lol

i managed to get the exe in the link description to sort mine out ... so would assume the cd will just have an exe too, but tricky if you don't have a CD drive :)

My driver side window wont work at all . I replaced the fuse but to no avail ( the window doesn’t even roll down when opening the door and no noise coming from the motor)

I would say start with taking to door panel off and introducing power to the motor.. if it works , it's probably a break in the wire going to it (the connector in the door gap can be the usual suspect) if it doesn't work , Probably the motor.

@@AdeReeves thanks mate , also having issues with wipers where they do not return to the parking position and randomly stops halfway on the windscreen ( I assume it’s the motor )

could be the motor, but the one the wife had years ago, as she didn't do a lot of miles ... the wiper mechanism rusted up... might be worth trying some WD40 down the wiper arm shafts as it could be an easy fix... as i recall the mechanism wasn't that bad to change and fairly cheap.

My Tigra has the same problem with the driver-side door. it is always roll the window all the way to the maximum level. So I can not close the door properly. Normally, there must be a gap before the door closes completely and the window will move up automatically. My question is: Where can I download the application to do the service for my Tigra. Can you send me a link, please? Can anyone here send me a link where to download the application to fix this electric door problem, please?
