They do have massive transmission problems tho. My 98 dodge dakota V6 3.9L was an automatic and the previous owner was the original owner and he told me it had been rebuilt then replaced then rebuilt then rebuilt again. It had 180k when i got rid of it and it was actually slipping when i sold it. I mean overall i loved it, it was a nice truck. But even on marketplace i saw someone with a 97 ram 1500 with if memory is right had about 230k. Yes thats alot of miles but the thing was is it was a manual transmission and he said he replaced it a few thousand miles ago. I was shocked about that as ive actually never heard of a manual tranny go out.

Bought a 2001 xlt extended cab Auto white black trim it came from South Carolina it ended up in ohio A car loan had it and I saw it it had 200,012 miles they wanted 14,000 For it I got them down to 12000 It lasted 6000 miles then the trainy Blew 47re I had it rebuilt for $4000 With a Suncoast triple disc torque Converter good truck the only thing Scary thing is it as a Cummins 53 block I herd of the block crack Issues I baby it let it warm up before driving the old girl if it does crack I'll get a 12 valve.

Man, I'm glad I stumbled onto this channel; every once n awhile the internet makes me smile. My dad had a 1st gen w350 5 speed that he used to tow his drag car with (64 Polara with a hemi.) I learned how to drive a stick on that truck and how to back a trailer, your 1st gen content brings back some memories! Fast forward a few years and I bought myself a 95 2500 from a local dentist who towed a travel trailer. Between him and the original owner they have most receipts dating back to 95 when Dodge first warrantied the track bar! She's a little rough right now but I'm having a ball working on it. I have a small tree service business I do on the side so this channel really has everything I could hope for 😂
