funny , i watched your video, Yes it got me nervous before our 9 foot 8 by 5 foot 6 island was going to be installed.......It went great , no issues , all installed just perfect. Matrix In Duncan were the most professional company we delt with in years .

Boy picking that granite sink up with the abaco right on the finger was ballsy especially standing so close dude could’ve lost a foot or potentially worse.

Most of the installation breaks were easily avoidable. The scary ones to me are the fab shop vids. The suction lifting clips are questions operator error, but the abaco slab lifter failures are especially scary.

Fred, In first video they are installing a counter top with a return. I have seen many installations that have that "L" return. Could the flex or tension on the counter top be reduced if a suction cup with re enforcement bar was used on the surface? Seemed to be going slow, but it was very unfortunate.

The reason in broke was because the installer supporting that part of the piece was applying too much force upwards to go down slower when the slower you drop, the higher chance you have of a break. You need to lay it down quickly with equal force universally on the top. It shouldn't have broken in the first place, and I wouldn't had used a bar.
