Great to see all three of you together on a video! Thanks for the recommendations, many of which I didn’t know about. I thought I’d got away lightly after this year’s second RSD drop - this video has put paid to that, with two or three of your suggestions, already secured from Amazon… 🙂

Just got done watching... great to have the three of you together again. Mark, you're always forgetting your book LOL. International Anthem Recording Co. has just become a treasure trove of a record label over the past few years. Great record Fred showed. I have Brandee Younger's self released album "Soul Awakening"... fantastic jazz harpist. Definitely gonna check out that Wilkes record John showed. Mark, that John Hassell record is SUUUPERB; love that record. John, just as we were all talking about Steely Dan in our virtual get-together, I have to say that when Two Against Nature came out, I remember doing back-flips. And the Everything Must Go record is just as good. I was so fortunate to see them live a few months before Walter died. I remember John saying he saw them live in a club there in the UK years ago. Great trio of guys (John, Mark, and Fred), hands down. - TONE

Hello John, Mark and that other guy on the bottom of the screen from Australia. What's his name again? {smile} Fred. The perfect encore. And the perfect Sunday morning guest. Three longtime VC legends sharing what I know is going to be interesting music. <> The perfect Sunday morning post. Kicking back and enjoying. <> Will wrap up later on. VC forever~

Hey guys, just back from a week in sun-drenched Sligo, home of WB Yeats. Got in three daily swims = perfect week's holidays (except for the damn jellyfish - I encountered a terrifying large lion's mane that I spotted at the last second and just about avoided, it was about 3 feet long not kidding!) Back to the pool for me I'm afraid! Like you Mark I got that Martyn too on the day, my only purchase though I was circling the Bill Fay too... I also agree that Grace and Danger is super, it is about 80% excellent and I still listen to it regularly, especially the "Hurt in your heart" track.

John Huston was the fellah who directed 'Wiseblood', around the same time he also made à wonderful version of 'Under the volcano' for those who enjoy off-kilter literary adaptations.

Go on Alan's channel and watch the How to be an Audiophile video, it's totally worth it.

All the Red House painters are beautiful. Dirgy moody depressing yet uplifting. Even the more electric Songs for a Blues Guitar is wonderful. 🎸

Hi Chaps. Great to see Fred join you for another round. Loads of interesting stuff there. I’ve never heard those last two Steely Dan records. I’ll have to look out for the RSD reissues. Mark, if you’re enjoying the Mother Earth album, check out Matt Deighton’s solo albums. His ‘Wake Up The Moths’ album is a gorgeous record. Cheers. John

Algorithms sometimes get it right... I opened KZbin to look for a live track that a friend suggested and I picked up this video suggestion - Fred was the link.

That John Martyn was my number one pick for RSD. Ive have the CD and had lusted for it on vinyl for two decades. The label bought him that Church in trade to record a covers record. It’s a sexy moody soulful record. His low voice is fantastic and the sound of the bass and arrangements are beautiful. The OG was going for hundreds so when I saw it listed I was in heaven. Great choice ✌🏻

Great to see Fred back on the show gentlemen. Alex was definitely excited about finding an OG of that Japanese ambient gem. In The Light is so good. Very nice to see a copy sent your way John. Speaking of Bowie were you guys able to check out the UK TV Series The Last Panthers?

Wonderful as always guys. Great to see Fred- a true Bozo legend. This might be asking a bit much, but could you make these daily? ;-)
