I think this is wonderful, but Waymo has beat everybody to the punch with their fully autonomous taxi service in Phoenix, San Francisco, and now going into LA and Austin. Waymo has accomplished a critical first strike in this market and will ride that wave to their benefit for the next 50 years, exactly like Home Depot did in being the first for big box, home improvement stores. It's unfortunate that the great technology of Mobileye could not have been put into a ride hailing service like Uber or Lyft. even better, partnering with a major automobile manufacturer, like Ford to start their own ride hailing service. What a tremendous missed opportunity.😢
