I bought one of their red dots just as a get by when my other red dot failed and went for warranty repair. It’s still in use years later. The newer generations look amazing but I’m sure prices will go up.

Good review, thank you. Red dot optics, like autoloaders chambered in 9mm, have a major problem . . . too many fine alternatives to make purchasing decisions simple.

Very nice for the price. That mount is quite similar to my Larue mount that cost almost as much without an optic. I looked at their website & they also have a solar model. Obviously I'll keep the Larue mount with the Aimpoint on it for "serious" applications but this looks good for a 22 or a practice rifle. Thanks for the review.

I have astigmatism. Because of that I have been buying Holosun and EOtech optics with the circle dot. I bought this one just to try it and have been very happy.

Long time ago I found my that I liked my $200 Bushnell scope better than my $500 Leupold. It has held up just as well. Technology has made it easy to build quality optical components cheaply. The biggest difference is probably in durability. The more robust construct is more costly to build into it. On MooseHill video. I bought one of their Hawaiian shirts and a pair of hiking pants. On test drove the pants and found they very comfortable. It will require long term wear to see how they hold up.

I recently searched "Funk" for you on YT & couldn't find you. A day or two later I recalled HR and solved the problem. I thought I recalled you reviewing a Colt National Match in 45, blued current production. Yet I can't find that. It could be the whiskey. But you deserve to have such a fine 1911 in your collection & I'm sure you'd share it.

Not "budget", but instead "value". Defined as a reasonable/practically acceptable performance to cost ratio. As you have stated numerous times, "you can't buy results". If an optic, firearm, etc. performs to your own level of satisfaction at a lower price, it has "value". I too have moved in the direction away from top names that have gained popularity from marketing or shill Tuber endorsements to lower cost products that meet my performance standards. For example, the Taurus G2c (has been excellent) ort Hi-Lux optics (excellent value to cost with tremendous immediately available support). People will benefit from viewing and considering the logic of videos as this one does, suggesting they consider less "Gucci" products.

When you were showing the reticle of this optic, the point of aim appeared to change when you went back and forth between the circle-dot and dot. The dot seemed to shift slightly to the left relative to the 2 MOA dot in the circle-dot reticle.

When I tested that during the shooting portion, I did not see a shift in the point of impact.

A great review. That optic has a lot going for it at a budget price. A QD mount, pop open lens covers and protected knob adjustments are all great features. The quality of red dots has improved and prices have fallen. I've gone from Holosun to Cyelee red dots at a lower price and have seen no difference in performance. Red dot optics today are a bargain.

In retrospect, I think that is what happened. There was a pretty good ding on the mount, and I think that’s what caused the shift in POI.

Better is hard to say. The green reticle of the Cyelee is a little clearer. On the other hand, I prefer the circle-dot option on the Vector. I wish Cyelee would produce the GT-10 with a CD reticle.

I wish someone would send you the primary arms 1x8/10 platinum lpvo..what I seen it’s incredible..field of view is widest I think of all. I’m wantin to put the 2.5x20nf nx8 on my DD.308. I almost bought it few yrs ago but forgot to up my card limit..lol. Got a viper instead and been super impressed with it over 4yrs now. It’s on my fn spr now. Got razor hd lht 4.5x22x50 on my 6.5prc waypoint now ands super lightweight for hikin here in eastern Ky and that rd is wicked..🫡🇺🇸✌🏻
