I have a goal to own each of the qd trucks. I have a pumpkin, just got a Blackfoot, that leaves monster beetle and clod . I also have almost all of the radio shack clones of the qd line

Interestingly enough, the qd Blackfoot has the square body Chevy body vs the f150, just like the qd clod

yup! I have one of the blackfoot qd now to! Also a mangled body of one that came in a deal and no idea why its the way it is!

Man that thing looks like new! I have the Monster Beetle version and upgraded to hobby great electronics and i was wondering how to remove the brass hex's from the rear transmission axles that the wheels mount on to replace the plastic bushings to ball bearings. Any idea? Thanks for any good info.

On my midnight pumpkin the wheel hex just slides off. Its a splined shaft. Tamiya semi hex might work as they are also splined shaft

@@thestuffz Really? On mine they just have some play and slide to a position and then stop.. So if i pull them hard enough the will come off or will i pull half of the transmission with me..? Hehe.

Yes! I have successfully removed the hex's from the axles. Pliers and a hammer. Ball bearings are going in. Thank you. :)
