I love this guy and listen to his lectures all the time. He has not had the direct experience say Osho, Eckart, and all the rest did. Among other things, it slows one’s speech…. Translating the ineffable comes off to some as “holy”.. judge mental monkeys we can be…
@waykee3Ай бұрын
@@sunandajoshi215not that difficult truly. Like I can as well, as I can understand it. I don’t need to copy phrases as I understand it and can use different analogies accordingly as I understand it. It’s more of analogies that made sense in the beginning intuitively, then slowly, the exact perception of how it is so would set in as one clears more “karma” (the illusion stopping this perception, separation - Saturn). Which leads to more clarity and try deep understanding of it (Jupiter - wisdom). If you think that this good, you should see me speak about such stuff in more logical explanations that clearly, you can’t deny if you have certain amount of critical thinking ability. Maybe he is not lousy but I, just better. Because I don’t just know but able to transcribe it and even if I don’t truly know it, my logical concrete conceptualisation is often accurate, I have truly cleared more karma along the way and found my stuff to be true. Because my explanation is all clearer logical. It’s like “mathematical” and so essentially, it cant be wrong generally, even if I truly haven’t perceived it.

Mostly they don't want to be helped.. Especially If the price is giving up the insistence on believing to a limited individual. But it's your nature to be Love, its not really an effort to talk truth, radiate a benign presence in all interactions and do what there is to do for the welfare of 'others'. Afterall, it's all you, all your self. My view is your presence itself is a blessing, even without any 'philosophy'.. This benign fearless presence that sees all is divine, it's magnetic.

In the vey beginning, I would like to pay my due respect to your mission of spreading Swami Vivekananda's ideas of living our human lives successfully in every possible aspect and keeping up the dignity of the most intellectual (a human is generally born with the ability to attain a very high order of intellect through continuous practice) life from in existence on this planet, in the ever expanding human society . I'm a Bengalee(Bengali is my mother tongue) from West Bengal, India. I'm a freelance Mathematics teacher at the +2 level. I watch and listen to Swami Sarvapriyananda minutely. Through my sensory organs and utilising my negligible intellect I perceive his personality as calm, composed, wise but modest, decent, tasteful,.....He pronounces the words with much care ( it seems he has quite good an authority over the meaning and pronunciation of the words he prounces) to convey effectively the lessons out of his profound wisdom. My regret is that I can't understand ( no question of deep realization) the lessons, to the requirement! So, I find myself quite inferior in understanding, in particular, when I see that everyone else is either adding some personal views of realization of spirituality or praising Swamiji blissfully ,out of gratitude due to enlightenment of their minds! It seems everyone around me is spiritually so aware, so high, so enlightened ! Is it really so(I can't help enquiring within myself)? Then why is it that nothing is in order in our society? Where is education ? Authorities,boards of education, schools,... , teachers, students, tuition business, private coaching, expenditure of billions of INR ... all are there. But where do we stand as a nation? All these questions brew up within my mind and keep stirring my existence vehemently! I dive deep into my conscience to find : I didn't learn the appropriate meanings and pronunciations of the words of my mother tongue in my school days. I didn't explore the fascinating world of Bengali literature that well! I didn't learn literature in languages other than Bengali, either! I didn't learn history of my country and of the world. I didn't learn the history of human civilization or anthropology! I didn't learn human physiology or anatomy. I didn't learn human psychology ; human actions driven by various emotional states of mind. I'm a Math teacher. I should have learnt at least Mathematics extremely well! I didn't do that either! I can't create interest and thirst for learning Mathematics in children's mind. I myself haven't quite realized the importance and significance of learning Mathematics. I didn't learn the skills of driving magically the simplest , most innocent minds of children and of injecting intense passion for learning into their inquisitive minds! In short, I didn't learn anything of real substance! So, it's very natural that I don't understand much of spirituality! Good wishes to all good work and good souls, committed to serve selflessly for the welfare of humanity.

It's all right with you, brother! I think you might read the story of Svetaketu (the son of the sage Uddalaka) in the Chandogya Upanishad. This reading is good for understanding, but you should read with your heart, not with your mind. A big hug!

As someone who 'claims' to be enlightened*
@sombh19712 жыл бұрын
I would add that what happens after enlightenment can be understood by studying the lives of enlightened beings, and that mostly boils down to feeling the presence of God so palpably in their lives that nothing else matters to them. It gives you the mental strength and ability for renunciation of a Ramakrishna, who upon being told he was no longer welcome at a place had the fortitude to simply sling his towel on his shoulder and take leave. Can anyone imagine doing that, and let me tell you why it was so easy for him, it was because he saw the Mother of the universe leading him by the hand always. Or you can study the life of the Mother of the universe herself, who declared that it was she who was the real Mother of everybody, and she demonstrated time and again, that these weren't mere words, by manifesting as the mothers of different devotees from time to time. Thereby delineating the path of Tapasya of the Kali-yuga, which is service to your mother, and to try to see everyone apart from your spouse as embodiments of the Mother. To understand the carnal feelings of women for you as being the manifestation of the fundamental albeit wilfull confusion in Kali's mind for whether Brahman is her son or her consort, and realise that she has confused herself thus to perpetuate the play of this universe. It's the mother of all chicken and egg problems, does Brahman give rise to Kali or is it the other way around? And mind you, Brahman Himself is confused as well, and is perpetually trying to resolve the confusion, but the full resolution of either of their confusions would lead to a cessation of the universe, so here we are, manifestations of the yin and yang of the universe, forever at war, blundering our ways through this madhouse that we have created volitionally, maybe Brahman and Kali are the eternal warriors that are at war because they seem to be turned on by the wounds that they inflict on each other, for that is the only way all this seems to make sense. Om namo bhagawate Ramakrishnaya. I would like to add that Thakur and Ma were two true manifestations of Brahman and Kali, because they were free of any such confusions, which is the real nature of the latter. Thakur used to become a child in the presence of other women, while Ma well, she was always the Mother to everyone else.
@ferdinandocoluccelli95742 жыл бұрын
emmhh ... perhaps the meaning of the speech escaped you, otherwise youd wouldn't use expressions as "feeling the presence of God" or "he saw the Mother of the universe" ... but it's just my view :) Namaste

@@sombh1971 like you said that to know about enlightenment, we can study the lives or biographies of people whom other think were enlightened masters. Suppose we read the biography of a saint written or told by his disciple. For example any disciples of Ramkrishna writes about Ramkrishna and all the mystical incidents and miracles, and about his perception about women whom he considered his mothers. How can we know that it's true and the person is not exaggerating for example most people say that Ramkrishna literally had talks with Godess Kali. It can also be possible that he might be having some psychotic issues like hallucinations (please don't offend, I respect him) because he was not healthy as it's claimed very often that he was diagnosed with cancer and he didn't receive any treatment for this. This might had caused psychological issues to him like he would hear and see things like devi has entered into women etc. It's my opinion that enlightenment is a myth What do you say?

Swamiji, I wish to put forth most humbly that this is exactly the problem with the intellectual approach to Reality of Existence! The ultimate Wisdom or Atma Gnana is not an intellectual comprehension. If a real Enlightenment and Truth realisation takes place in a person, he goes with tremendous inner power to transform others and the world at large. There is all possibility for a seeker to miss the real goal. But then a true and persistent seeker never misses the Truth! We have to note that Truth of oneself is realized only in a thoughtless state of mind! So Sage Patanjali says in the very opening verse 'Yoga chitha vritti nirodaha'!Om That Sath Om
