This swami is in his head so much .understanding is helpful but it takes great effort to deal with layers and layers of vasanas stored up emotions etc. surrender, selfless service, mindfulness, therapy, feeling the body sensations, self inquiry. All theses tools help.

Great video. Now I understand why even though we are Brahman we can't know what others are thinking. We cannot know what others are thinking because we have different information in our minds. Brahman lightens up what's in the individual mind.

At the cutting edge of physics even beyond quantum mechanics there is a growing understanding as follows : all that is matter is excitations in various fields, this includes every single sub atomic particle that make up the elements that make up our bodies including brains these feilds exist uniformly throughout the universe ... what makes a proton is excitations in the quark feilds and electrons are excitations in the electron field ... this is not all philosophy as the last experient done on this proved the higgs field (Peter Higgs won a Nobel Prize). If you look at it from this perspective we are all just excitations in quantum fields, Vedanta would say quantum feilds are the ocean and we are all waves in that ocean ... now exactly what makes as some entity living as opposed to non living is not known to science but it seems that these fields can create patterns of excitations that has the ability to witness its own its existance its sense of I think therefore I am. Only Physics can show you how Prakriti actually works Vedanta deals with what Purusha is - Krishna say in B.Gita 13.24 path of knowledge is absolute in terms of liberation but you have to understand both purusha, prakriti and how they interact.

Now there is no doubt after practical experience through experiment of entanglement of energy with atoms manifested in activeness that is derived concious. That what the every things in this universe from a one and only one Omni present universal consciousness develops actions .that is also true for human brains neurones manifest desires and immotions.semiconders doing miracles in the field of science in communication. True, that the external jagat is actually perceived in me by mind as infinite consciousness is reflected in mind. Even I as a person is illumined by that reflected consciousness. So to say everything that is perceived in me are in the realm of reflected consciousness. So feeling of oneness with all is conceivable at least logically. But feeling oneness with vast infinite consciousness is really a big jump. It's not conceivable without a grace.

I understand how the sun can illuminate many pots of water and be reflected in each of them differently. However, how do the pots come into being as separate seeming selves? What is the force or process the differentiates the one into the many? It seems that this is still a mystery. As it was for Plato in the west and obviously for thinkers in India as well.

Consciousness is like electricity. Each computer has a different hardware. Even the software is older in some and newer in others. But the electricity behind it all is the same. And even if this computer doesn't exist the electromagnetic field will always exist. Once u realise you are not the operating system, nor the hardware or software. You realise eventually you are just energy. Which level do you want to associate your existence with. Every computer has a part that converts the electricity to power for the pc. If you think the part that makes you one is within you then you are at the level of sankhya. If you think you are the field then welcome to Advaita.

How do we know that awareness is not generated by the body? Or does that not matter? If we can directly become one with awareness, does it then not matter what it is (I know it's not a thing or phenomenon)? Do these questions cease to be important after that? Are they only issues for those who identify with the body or other phenomena? I think I have answered my own question.😂😊

Question: if everything is appearing within me, the field of Awareness; can I change what is appearing by realizing that there are no others? If ALL is appearing in ME, can I not change this dream?💙🙏, or since I cannot change my night-dream, so too I cannot change the waking dream; just give it up? Surrender to whatever happens?

There is no-thing that you can differentiate yourself from , that could be changed. One one ESSENCE. DREAM ANALOGY POINTS TO THE FACT THAT NONE OF THE DREAMED OBJECTS ARE REAL . The unreal cannot be changed , as it doesn't even exist in the first place .

Nothing happens . Only seems to happen because we take objects to be real in them selves , ie. The objective world being literally true , which is not the case . There cannot be any surrender except for the illusion of duality . Real surrender to our circumstances is the recipe for depression as it is in our quotidian life .

@@krishnapartha, yes, "we" are all sharing the same dream because there is only ONE DREAMER; recognizing this ONE Dreamer only, "I" would like to think that since it is only "I" who presses out into a multiplicity of forms, that "I" should be able to create a Lucid waking DREAM; and thereby write a new script, so to speak. Interesting, indeed!

One more question, please; the state of deep-sleep where "I" am not conscious of even being the "knower", it would seem that this is a very important aspect of our Counsciousness; that we must return to Being without Awareness of Being, as without the deep-sleep state our bodies are deprived and can become unhealthy; can anyone explain the need for the deep-sleep state?

You always say advaita says…but only one place in chandogya Upanishad talked about advaita”Elam Eva advitium Brahman”. Is there any other place in Upanishad used the word advaita?

If it's all one then why does he even bother eating. Feeling hunger brings anxiety. Let it come, let it be, let it go! That's not even practical. You would starve to death! This type of philosophy is not only spiritual suicide but it also turns people into unfeeling/impersonal robots. No. Having feelings, emotions and positive loving and caring relationships is natural and pleasing to the soul. It just has to be felt and practiced on the spiritual platform in the association of like minded people. This impersonal philosophy is dry and cold toward the self and others. Amira can sense this but is being bewildered by all this word juggelary passing off for esoteric knowledge. As a women she will be well attuned to her feelings and emotions. Not having a spiritual outlet for her emotions is what's really frustrating her, not the emotions in themselves. And how do these impersonalists try to solve her dilemma? Become like wood. Stop thinking for yourself. Stop feeling your own emotions etc. Become like a stone so I can throw your soul into the bottom of the dark well of Oblivion. 😮. Real rasa or spiritual taste in relationships is to be had in direct communion with the Divine who just so happens to be a transcendental person with a spiritual body and senses. Our senses do not and actually cannot be made void or impersonal. They just have to be spiritualized in the association of the Supreme and then comes the attainment and fulfilment of real oneness in the loving embrace and service of the Lord. And what about prophetic dreams where some dead or a saint person comes and tells something to the dreamer??!! Prophetic dreams are very frequent! So, we can NOT say there's only ONE REAL person in dreams - the dreamer! Same is true for the waking state as well!

Your own subjective awareness is all you can really be sure of. Regardless of whatever you experience. That is the point. It is all existing within you as awareness. Saints are another product of Your dream. They are like characters you programmed into the simulation to remind yourself you are in a simulation. When you awaken, it will become quite clear.

@@IhorSmart but, everything is in your dream. Are you familiar with Turia? The fourth state? You are the One behind the waking, dreaming, and dreamless sleep states. Self-realization is all about finding that out about yourself. I suggest reading the Upanishads. Spend more time in true meditation. You will see. Unless you don’t want to see-then you are only prolonging your journey. That is up to you ultimately. @@seedfromatree Thank you, of course everything is "appearances in consciousness". But the dream example with only the ONE appearing as many in the dream is not correct then! Because NOT ALL dream's elements were created by the dreamer.
