Well, the problem with the _original_ Satanic Verses is that it totally undermines the quran (as if the lack of morality, logic and any evidence whatsoever doesn't do that already). The story goes that there was a tribe who worshipped goddesses and, because mahommed wsn't very pwoerful at that point, in order not to alienate them, he "received" verses saying that worshipping these goddesses, along with allah, was fine. Then, when mahommed got more powerful, he claimed that these verses did not come from Gabriel, but from Satan, and recanted them. However, if this was the case, then people could argue that *all* of the quran came from Satan. so muslims were never to even mention the episode. Now I don't believe in the clearly made up character of Satan, but if I did, then I could easily believe that it was responsible for the torah, bible and quran. Afterall, what kind of character wants to be worshipped? A mature, secure, holy, spiritual character, or a Satanic one? What are the *results* of these books? An intelligent human, let alone a god, would be able to foresee some of the negative results of a book like the quran, and thus would cause a *different* book to be written; the *results* of the quran (violence, oppression, idiocy) completely *refute* the quran's claims that it came from a god! Only an idiot or those brainwashed beyond the edge of sanity could believe the quran.

Chill Out yup! He’s crazy haha. Yeah it was really difficult. I believed in it all since I was young and I was indoctrinated into it since I was a child. I went to madrassah everyday after school to learn and have it drilled into me. Whilst I was at university I wanted to become closer to my religion and Allah, so I began to pray more and read more. I always used to have conflicts with it when I was older, especially the morality in Islam and especially because I am a woman. But once I became more religious and started reading more about the concubines allowed in Islam, and the way slaves are legitimised in Islam (I always knew this but always believed it was okay at the time). I realised the Quran is for all time so it’s okay to have slaves today. That’s when it really clicked in my brain that I can’t justify it anymore. It doesn’t fit with my morality and I was going crazy inside my head. I used to get so scared getting negative thoughts about Islam that I was going crazy in my brain whilst I prayed. I thought Allah hated me because I felt evil having bad thoughts about Islam. Once I realised I can’t justify the morality, sex slaves and how the men are always put first I left. I realised Islam was man made by men for men. I remember sitting on my bed at 21 years of age (I’m 24 now) and I felt dizzy realising everything I was taught since young was a lie. God wouldn’t allow dirty things like that. I realised what I thought about how the universe and how we came about and life in the here after was a lie. I lost Islam but I still believed in god. I started reading Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens and then lost god all together. Now I’m an atheist! Sorry for the long essay haha

I was escorted out of an area of Birmingham once, when I got lost in the city after picking up a new motorcycle in 1999 from DK motorcycles in Newcastle under lyme and going through the city rather than round it, on my way south to Berkshire. I was totally lost going round in circles trying to find my way out and ended up in a residential street. I pulled over outside a little shop and with in 5 mins of stopping there muslim men and women were coming out of houses and looking at me. When more and more came out I moved down the road a bit to a petrol station to buy a map and get a drink. I was sitting on the forecourt on a kerb looking at my bike and wondering what to do when the police turned up and were surprised to see me there.They asked me what I was doing there and I told them I was lost. They said it wasn't safe for me to be there, that they couldnt leave me there so they would escort me out of the area and put me back on the right road. Later when I thought about it I realised I was actually in danger but at the time never imagined I would be attacked or something. I had never experienced anything like that before and now when I read about or see stuff on no go muslim zones, I know its true.

And then one guy comes, says that he is prophet, contradicts entire Scripture, never does a miracle, teaches hatred, was a pedophila and... whole world must believe him alone because he said so? Because he said that some god told him so? And that he said that god said that he is best of people, example for mankind, best of prophets (while he will not judge the universe like Jesus even in the Necronomicon... ugh, koran), and he alone who says that about himself? And his follower do THIS, and then say that Bible is corrupted (but in actuallity Bible cannot be corrupted for muslims because sura 6 verse 114 and 115, check it out)? Why i am not convinced?

@@w.t.h.2040 ??? Well, i am thankfull for your opinion on this matter, but what is the point of making your own criteria? He said, somebody else's said, it is all inspired by Holy Spirit, and He is God Himself, so no matter if Paul says the right thing, or Jesus - it is good for doctrine and God inspired, good teaching. That is our way of taking it, this is our theology. Because i can say that koran is a hadith itself and that you can't be sure no how in that all if it was said by Magamad or his alahu friend.

Will your book contain actual events that is better than history books and be so accurate? Be so simply written so even child can understand that? Will your book be revelation of God?
