Dear Tanmay bro - This was possibly one of the most detailed preparation of an authentic Veg Biryani that I have watched and that too from Hyderabad! I am a tad surprised as to why folks would think that Veg Biryani doesn’t exist . In Mumbai you would find plethora of restaurants that serve authentic Veg Biryani- there might be a slight difference in the cooking style but the taste is quite authentic ! I am so glad that you did clear some myths of sceptics who denied the existence of Veg Biryani 😃😃 ! I agree no one can beat Hyderabad in the speciality dishes that you ordered .. in fact all 3 are stamped Hyderabadi!! It is made with Indian spices, rice, and meat usually that of chicken, goat, lamb, prawn, fish, and sometimes, IN ADDITION, EGGS OR VEGETABLES SUCH AS POTATOES IN CERTAIN REGIONAL VARIETIES if definition of biriyani itself says having meat with addition of some veggies then how can you all say veg biriyani exists 🤣

Pulao is basically a rice dish which made with drying method where rice is also cooked with the veg. And masalas ,, whereas biryani is made with draining method where rice is pre-cooked and layer after while .

Vegetarian biryani does exist & that too in various forms, it is as much a biryani as a non-veg one if it is made by layering and cooking on steam.
