This look is AMAZING. This launch has been funny for me in that I feel like I'm loving the colors that I wouldn't traditionally gravitate towards or find flattering (which is really the magic of Lisa--almost everything she's ever released has been flattering for me no matter the undertones). It's so unexpected how much I'm finding myself lusting after this one.

Great video! Something I'd really like to see after all the palette videos is cross-palette comparison swatches between the formulas - for example, I am so curious to see how Sorcery's Mercurial and Vega's Supernova look like swatched next to each other as two different luminous shades. This would be so helpful for people choosing singles or those selecting palettes they might like to customise together! Edit; Oh! Also! Just occurred to me I'd be really curious to see how the finishes and shades differ with the liquid lurex, and potential looks using both the lurex and powder shadows!

What your video shows really well is how these shadows layer up and how you can mix the colours. I struggled with Vega a little because it turns out just a touch too cool. My fix for that was to switch out Smoke & Mirrors and Moonswirl with Fired Earth and Raw Sienna. That has created the perfect neutral everyday palette that goes with any lipstick - especially if they are dark, like Myth and Blush - as well as any colour eyeshadow for accents. This palette is also an ideal companion to the liquid lurex eyeshadows. I have Emily, Angelica, Zora and Anais. In addition, it works for a little contouring, highlight and eyebrows. One palette I had been searching for forever is a perfect neutral one, just for shaping, definition, shimmer, and to work with any colour, whether it's lipstick, eyeliner or other shadows. What I love more than anything is that I can use any shade as much as I want to, knowing that I can simply replace it when it runs out. This whole palette is now getting used every single day and handling the dinky, pretty component is such a pleasure every time I do. Having said that, grey sets off any eye colour and looks really great on you too, as does a smokey look. I am really looking forward your videos on the other palettes. You always have such a fascinating take and a very creative and unique way of using make up 🙂

@@KateFace21 I think that she might as Fawn was voted to be the perfect nude - my favourite colours of hers are Beauty and Blush. Now I understand the concept it's very exciting. I don't know if you have seen her Christmas gift guide and the new Liquid Lurex colours? Talking of those, a palette with an Emily shade would be a great idea too. I love your channel and your in depth reviews. I have never been so interested in a brand, but it's her genius with colour that makes those products stand out and you are by far the best channel for these. Your other videos are interesting too, and I always feel that I understand the colours, formulas and textures after watching them. Another thing: the beauty community can be toxic but there is no trace of that here. It's genuinely enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you so much for all the effort you put in 😊

Beautiful look, Kate 👏I just love my Vega palette! I'm thinking I'm going to take out the matte black, though - simply because I never use black shadow, ever - and put a Mauve Decade single in its place. I feel like the cool, smoky lavender grey of Mauve Decade would work really well with the rest of the shades in Vega. Of course, Mauve Decade is sold out right now 😥so hopefully it won't be another six months before it's back in stock! I'm excited to see what you do with the rest of these LE palettes, especially Myth 😊 I think those purple tones will look amazing with your green eyes. XO, Cathy

Wow! You look amazing! I know all this smoke isn't your usual aesthetic, but this look really suits you! This color story was basically my cool toned dream story (my most loved palette is PMG's Mothership 1) so I ordered Vega to be an easier, more daily friendly and compact palette. I would not have thought to use the VBB liner as a base, so that was kind of cool to see too. Thanks for doing these! The only palette I didn't order was Cinnabar actually, and Muse was my own "outside the comfort zone" so I am looking forward to seeing your other looks.🥰

It's interesting the way you lightly smoke those neutral colours under your eyes that honestly look like a bruise at first. When I first saw you do that in another video, I did not understand it. Now I am seeing that it allows you to have shadow under your eyes without closing your look in like a black bottom rim liner would have done. I am going to try this.

I like the way you described that, it’s exactly why I like to do my lower lash line in that way. Too much depth close in makes my eyes look smaller, and a softer diffusion creates a better look for me! 🥰

@@KateFace21 I am in my mid 40s and have had my makeup done so many times when I was younger and it was a thing to go to Mac for your makeup for special occasions. I have seen many videos on makeup application in the last 10 years. I have never seen your technique until now. What a creative and intelligent idea you came up with. Someone like Kendall from your inspirational editorial photo has huge eyes so she can have that heavy heavy black effect underneath. Yours is modified to still keep the drama. The application style is just different. Very cool, Kate. I am also pale and have green eyes, except my skin tone is all the way cool. My eyes are actually hooded and not deep set. So I love ideas that I can try to have different looks and not just a simple look for hooded eyes. Your eyes have a nice upturn on the outer corners and your eyelids are firm across the lid, so your eyes look dreamy. Even though you don't have large eye sockets, your eyes are really pretty and unique. They have a Scandinavian shape, in my opinion.

I love that your looks are always so different from the other ones I've seen on the same eyeshadow palette. I love the really dark look, it is not your typical style but it suits you as well! I have a feeling that this palette is really versatile, with the greys, brownie shades to give a hint of warmth, and the interesting shimmering shades. And will this be the first black that I will juse more than a little tiny bit? I am excited to see what my thoughts are about this palette, once I can test it.
