I just found your videos and have been binge watching them. You're incredible, and the way you talk about your family and yourself is incredible, but mostly it's your self awareness. Your growth, as a woman, as a daughter, as a Korean American, and a human, is so poignant. I have to take a break and go cry and eat some chocolate. Robert is obviously resting well, and is proud of you, and the family you and your husband have made.

This really hit home with me. I could relate to your feelings completely. My mother was born and raised in Okinawa Japan. She lived there all her life until she married my father. He was stationed at the Air Force base on Okinawa. She was very much in love and brave to move to a different country and completely different culture in Horton Alabama. If I could be a pinky full of what she is completely! I'm 59 and I have always felt the need to protect her. She is so precious and humble people usually fall in love with her. I don't know how I would react if anyone mistreated or disrespected her. Thank you for sharing your story. I just recently found your channel. I love the way you share your thoughts, short yet profound. ps: I'm not a vegan but your food makes me want to be.

Lovely video! I love to hear stories of how our loved ones (all of them) find ways to contact us. Either through dreams, music, other people, etc. Saying “I don’t know if it’s real or true” really just shows a little fear of vulnerability, in my opinion. Deep inside our heart of hearts we do know. It’s ok to feel vulnerable, and your videos express that so well. I do understand and respect your caution. That’s a lesson as well. 🕊

I have gone from being cynical about astrology--which I confused with skepticism--to becoming more open to what it suggests about what we _don't_ know about physics and astronomy. Which is most things; we don't know most of what there is to know about everything. The recipe looks fabulous, and I know what I will do with the cabbage in my crisper that's been challenging me for weeks. ThanksForPosting : )

Actually, we know that astrology is using psychological mechanism to make it appear like predictions apply by narrating them in a general manner. And yes, to a layman it appears that physics still does not understand a lot of things while it actually is further thanks to research in quantum science. Remark: esothericists like to reduce quantum particles to energy to refer to what they believe is the causal origin and mechanism of everything in existence, even though it is scientifically far more complex than than that thus reducing physics to an explanatory model which fits their agenda.
@tamcon723 жыл бұрын
@@sabahalilovic2245 I agree, but I would only quibble with the concluding statement in your first paragraph: Because what can be known about the universe may be assumed to be illimitable, to state that understanding of the universe is "further" is not accurate. Further along than before, yes, but this does not predict a limit.
@sabahalilovic22453 жыл бұрын
@@tamcon72 very well! However, science is the best bet on understanding and finding truth (defined as causalities). even if scientific practices might be limited, science operates on methods which are far ahead of esoteric practices whose only claim to garantuee the truth of their model is to claim it to be true and refer to subjective experience. Statements and quotes on social media tell a gospel of spiritual awakening which refers to some form of subjective understanding that can only be aquired through introspection "once you have seen the truth, you will understand it and won't go back" often, when a prediction is made wrong by esothericists it is played as a general prediction and referred to the indivuals fault of not being aligned with said abstract energy. Esoteric models remain on claims of the functions an causalities of the universe and use undefined metaphysical terms such as consciousness or spirit which they then use to explain correlations, science on the other hand actively tests whether something is true or not and searches for causalities and actively uses methods which are the most likely ones to garantuee an accurate prediction. There is also notably a difference between causality and correlation: science aims to target causal relations, which means a thing x will necessarily occur if g happened, whereas esoterics at best rely on correlations which can be highly impacted by background variables. For example:the story of the 100th monkey : in this story, monkeys on islands started to learn certain behavior patterns when a distinct number of monkeys were able to perform a certain sweet potato washing technique. Esothericists claimed immediately that "consciousness was the cause for their fast learning when in fact It could have been that few individuals swam across the islands and spread the technique or it could have been a coincidental coevolution of practices. An esothericist could not answer whether backround variables played a role nor could he fully prove that it was some form of "consciousness"that served as the cause for the evolution for which they only have very little subjective" understanding". This is like observing someone burning his finger and then yelling" God did it " In comparison to esoteric practices, scientific research is based on reproducible evidence, which means if I formulate a hypothesis, it has to become true over and over again in test independent of location and people who do it and it has to be made sure that no background variables are targeted and eliminated as far as possible. That is something astrology and esoteric practices have not achieved despite claiming to offer a better model to explain causalities in the universe.
@tamcon723 жыл бұрын
@@sabahalilovic2245 I know all of this, but I admit that the proofs for physics are not applicable to what you refer to as "esoteric practices". This is why I say that our knowledge is necessarily limited by what we don't yet know, and because we cannot predict the limit of what we don't know, healthy skepticism--described by what-is-known parameters--is warranted. But the parameters--the limits of what-is-known--must be acknowledged and respected. I do not think it rational to dismiss something that cannot be demonstrated according to the traditional proofs of physics at this time; this assumes that this demonstration will always be impossible rather than that it is impossible _at this time,_ and that stance is anathema to scientific inquiry.

I would really caution against buying into these kinds of "services". I don't say this as a way to be a downer but because of how incredibly sinister this industry is and how willing it is to take advantage of people's grief and worst points in life. Unfortunately their research methods are very sophisticated and they're incredibly skilled in sneaking out info without us noticing. I googled this guy and found various articles talking about him and exposing him.

If you are feeling the same, search and read Skeptical Inquirer - Operation Pizza Roll before deciding to book a reading with the psychic mentioned in the video. I decided to Google reviews before booking a session and glad I did. Quite a few BBB complaints about him as well. It’s unfortunate.

I do believe you're in the psychic zone and love your story times ! I've been wanting a vegan version of this recipe for a very time and thought about asking you to veganize it. Well, cyber world has a way of increasing telepathy.;) I love your rendition (thank you Stanley), except for the choice of pasta. In my humble opinion, the buckwheat pasta (easily veganized) is the crux of this hearty winter meal. I am hoping that you might recreate this recipe another time with a homemade vegan buckwheat pasta! Then we can call it pizzoccheri. None the less~I enjoyed your spin and story. P.S. As long as we're talking psychics, I predict that Joanne Molinari aka The Korean Vegan will soon have her own show. You heard it here first! And, I would love to someday be a guest on that show.
