It's usually really hard to find vegan food in South America! It's cool that you could find so many options. I've been suffering for the past couple of months that we've been in Bolivia :(

yes I figured!!! it was easy in Sao Paulo and Rio because those are such big cities but I would imagine it would be difficult in other places... that sucks you're having a tough time :(

Michelle and Enzo's Adventures yeah. I had a lot of issues with finding vegan food in Brazil. And it didn’t help that I was traveling wirh carnists..... so they didn’t want to go to all vegan restaurants. I lived in French fries and coconuts

Where I live is so hot like Brazil during the summer and I can never eat hot foods all I crave it fresh juicy fruits but everything u ate looked amazing..😊😊

This looks like a good time. Have you considered carrying a reusable cup when you travel? I noticed you used a lot of plastic cups for your açaí and for drinks. We find most places are happy to use your own cup, and you will help slow the crazy flood of garbage!! Thanks Rose.

Normally, when you buy açaí the price varies according to the size of the cups the vendors have. They mesure by the cup. I doubt they would let her use her own cup...

Pâmella Martins I have had this experience also. Although if buying with a friends you can use one cup to measure, kindly explain to the vendor that you are saving them money and saving the environment for them and their kids to come.

Pâmella Martins I agree I almost smacked a flight attendant, I got out of my seat and started raising my voice about the garbage island. She eventually just poured my water into my cup. I looked crazy (am crazy) but I’m tired of pretending it’s ok.

The hot dog you ate looks like the São Paulo hot dog hahah there are plenty types of hot dog around Brazil. I'm from the northeast of the country and here we do not have mashed potatoes in it, neither it looks kinda ~squeezed. It tastes wonderful though!

THATS ***NOT**** HOW HOT DOGS LOOKS IN BRASIL!!! Its pretty much like regular hot dog u can find in american movies and stuff, but we put a lot more of things like chicken and meat (or veg substitutes). Prime dog just made it look differently, probably another bread, but is not usually like that :)

I had such tough Time in Brazil. They would even put bacon on salad 🙄😒 sooooooooooo annoying. I pretty much lived on French fries and coconuts. I went with carnists and they didn’t want to all vegan restaurants. Blaaaahhhh
