Sarah's Vegan Kitchen I planning on making some vegan white chocolate in the future and the filling I have made now is AMAZING!!! Ingredients: An equal part of Iranian Mazafati dates (peeled and pitted (sounds weird but trust me on this!)), coconut whip cream, coconut oil, vegan butter, peanut butter and golden syrup OR caramel. Method: Mix them up! NOTE: If you want the recipe for the actual chocolate, you can ask me 😇

Well done on the seitan. Sometimes ppls make it and it just looks like bread... which isn't bad per se but if we're going for realism... not so much. but yours legitimately looks like meat. I guess it's that foil trick that makes all the difference?
@SarahsVeganKitchen7 жыл бұрын
yes! makes it a lot more firm and less spongey. :)
@nemanhao_90587 жыл бұрын
Rebelwheels NYC also the more you knead it, the firmer it will be. You can even beat the seitan, like, smashi it and box it 😂

@Eskapismus7 жыл бұрын
It's a Japanese neologism. Wiki says: "The word seitan is of Japanese origin and was coined in 1961 by George Ohsawa, a Japanese advocate of the macrobiotic diet, to refer to a wheat gluten product created by Ohsawa's student Kiyoshi Mokutani." Not that spectacular at all.. :D
