1 diced onion softened with a tbs of vegetable broth Add and continue softening 1/2 pound of shitakwa and another half of portebello mumushroom 2 tbs of coconut/soy sauce 2 bok choys sliced without the root Cartoon of vegetable broth Boil turn down the heat to low and cover for 15 minutes Black paper, salt, whatever spices like Chilli garlic sauce, 1 tbs of white miso at the very end, Garnish with green onion or seseme seed

Good basis! I looked this up after making my own recipe for it, to see what others have done with it. I like to substitute one bok choy for a leek. Sautee with fresh minced garlic and ginger, chili oil, and a touch of sesame oil. then a few stirs of fish sauce, and after cooking, finish off with some gochujang. Greatly enhances the garlicky taste of the leek, and the taste of the mushrooms.

I don't have miso paste. What's the substitute for it? And did u add any oil or water before u add mushrooms and onions in the pot?
