I haven't been this happy since the birth of my children!!! 😂 I love to eat and since I became vegan I have been struggling to make meals I wasn't bored of or tired of eating, if that makes any sense to y'all. Yay! 😂 This is why I make these recipes. I stopped eating meat due to health reasons and I knew that making seitan that is similar to what I used to enjoy would keep me on track. Oxtails were my favorite! You’re welcome!

My father used to make oxtail birria for special occasions and I though I’d never have it again. This made me a little sad. 3.5 years later, with a little creativity and a whole lot of enthusiasm, I went for it and was go glad I did. This recipe will blow your mind! It’s the texture that does it for me. 🤗

Fantastic!! Thank you again for some new and delicious ideas for seitan. Everything looks so amazing that I can't wait to try the oxtails. It is lovely how the seitan will shred using this method. There are so many things that can be done with the shredded pieces, like salads and pulled "pork" and tacos! I am loving your channel

So I have a question is using white flour absolutely pivotal to these recipes? I followed the recipe in the drumstick video but I used Bob’s Red Mill whole wheat gluten four and the seitan came out really rubbery and it didn’t produce the milky starchy water you noted. So I was curious if you had some insight. Love the videos. :) keep up the amazing work.

If using vital wheat gluten, you can skip the washing part. VWG is washed flour.

The oxtails got me to subscribe! They look great. I have a question though. Have you ever tried putting dry seasonings into the flour BEFORE washing it? I'm wondering how much would be retained if done that way, then also seasonings incorporated the way you normally do.

Luckily you can now buy the vegan Worcestershire sauce. I use Annie’s which does not contain fish.
