VEGAN PROBIOTICS // How vegan families can have a probiotic-rich diet without supplements
A subscriber recently asked me about my opinion on vegan probiotics for kids. So I wrote an in-depth article summarising the latest research regarding the benefits and potential risks of probiotics for kids.

But probiotics supplements are of course not the only way to add probiotics to your child's (or even to your own) diet. So in this video, I build on the knowledge shared in the article by outlining the plant-based foods richest in probiotics, and which ones I consider the most appropriate for kids.

Full disclosure: I'm not the best at remembering to consistently include probiotic-rich foods into my family's diet. 😅 But filming this video reminded me to actively working on it! What are your family's favorite options?

Thanks for sharing this video! Probiotics are definitely harder to consume - the taste of sauerkraut is just not appealing! It’s a relief to know that prebiotics are effective too. Thank you!

Absolutely!! I guess it's all about finding the probiotics-rich foods that most appeal to you! But yes, prebiotic-rich foods are definitely easier to consume! I think the winning combination requires a mix of the two :)
