Vegan Ranch Dressing - Oil Free
I have received so many requests for an oil free, nut free vegan ranch dressing. I am happy to share with you my best version of a vegan Ranch dressing. It is thick, creamy, garlicky and yes maybe even addictive. Did I mention that it is indeed oil free, nut free, dairy free, gluten free and still packed with amazing flavor. Tom and I are both obsessed with this dressing.

WOW - a year?? That means a whole lot of taste testing went on during this process. Thank you so much. I've tried a few vegan Ranch dressings and they are okay, but I always felt like something was missing. I made some Zucchini Fritters from another channel and served with 3 different options: ranch, tzatziki and ketchup. We ended up going for the tzatziki because it was the most flavorful. But I really wanted the ranch to be the star. I can't wait to try this recipe. Again, thank you.

I love Ranch dressing! Unfortunately, I live in Tanzania, East Africa. We don't have tofu, yogurt, plant milks, Costco, Sam's or Walmart. Everything is grown right here in our little farming community. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks. Love your channel.

Can you get nuts of any kind? If you can get cashews or almonds you can make your own plant milk or make rice milk or oat milk. you can find recipes or instructions on line. Use raw cashews or almonds with no skins in place of tofu in this recipe. You might do an internet search for vegan ranch dressing and find some recipes using ingredients that are available where you live. Hope this helps.

It is much better after sitting in the fridge over night. That allows the fresh herbs time to infuse their flavor through out the dressing. I like it as is - you will need to make adjustments that suit your taste buds - we all have different taste preferences and I don't know what you are missing from it. Is it sodium, garlic, dill , vinegar? Think about which flavor you would like to have be stronger and go from there.

The silken tofu comes in 12 ounce containers and it’s very soft making it perfect for dressings. If you found a 16 ounce container recipe of soft silken tofu just use 12 ounces otherwise all of the portions of the other ingredients will be off and you won’t have the right balance of flavors. I am very happy I found your channel, I have been trying to find a super good ranch dressing and have tried at least 4 different recipes, and in spite of the wonderful host's intentions, none came close. If I can get really close to it, I am sure I will love it! I think the difference will be the lack of nuts and the type of tofu you are using. I've had that tofu before and it is very smooth and quite delicious. Looking forward to trying it! I am glad you reminded us about Dillon's shop, I've been meaning to go there too. Thanks so much for sharing! Glad I found you! 😊👍

I just wished the shipping cost wasn’t so much.. I was going to buy Stardust to try but shipping was almost the same price as the seasoning.. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to trying it. It would be nice if they had samples to share like table tasty does. $2 for a sample and no shipping cause they send it in a regular envelope. Table tasty is good but I really wanted to try stardust to see which one I like best.

There are some very good vegan salad dressings out there you can buy these days that are very low fat or no fat and they are much tastier then the ones I have tried before from recipes off KZbin. I use very little oil in my cooking, I am whole food plant based and in my 70es.

Oh my goodness - I finally got around to trying your Ranch dressing. I've been using balsamic vinegar to dress my salads, so I hadn't needed anything else. I didn't have Oat Milk, and thought I could substitute Almond Milk instead. But I was wrong on that. The Almond taste was overpowering, even with all the spices and herbs. Knowing I wasn't crazy with the nutritional yeast flavor. I think I'll leave it out next time. Also, next time, I will definitely make it with Oat Milk. However, It was very creamy and smooth, and not unpleasant. But like I said, the Almond flavor was just too strong.

I was really craving pizza and I made one by using millet flour and white flour. I used tomato sauce and eggplant as a topping. I didn't feel like making a vegan cheese and then I remembered that I still had some of your ranch dressing in the fridge. I've poured some on the pizza after taking it out of the oven and it was so good! :D

Oh my that looks so yummy you should make it and sell it in jars cuz I would definitely buy it from you. I went plant-based for health reasons so I do not do oil or butter and it's been very very hard to try to find anything with no oil and no butter and it's just not possible so I have to compromise with other things.

This looks so good. I miss Ranch dressing. I am not a fond lover of tofu, but want to try because I think with all those wonderful herbs, it will disguise the flavor of the tofu a bit. I would use it all the ways you suggested...even veggie burgers as a "mayo" substitute but better! Need to run to the store to purchase the ingredients. Will be doing that Monday probably. Thanks Tami!
