How is your tofu so firm!!! Do you tofu press it before you freeze it overnight ?

It use extra firm tofu! So it's really already firm before pressing. I freeze mine first (without pressing) and press it after I thaw it to get out the excess water!

@@Blue-lz6em There is no reason to mention "chicken" when chickens aren't included as an actual ingredient.

@@TheFettuck I'm assuming it means it's based on a recipe that previously used chicken but is changed to be vegan, so people looking for that can find it more easily or to make it recognisable as a vegan version of the dish. Also, maybe you could say vegan "chicken" as a way of describing the tofu in the recipe is meant to come out kind of like chicken? Chicken used to describe the ingredient's and taste and texture more than the actual animal, maybe, if that makes sense.

@@Blue-lz6em It is very hypocritical to associate vegan recipes with the results of animal cruelty (killed chickens). Vegan recipes are made with plants and fungi. All vegan recipes should be named after the included plants and fungi.
