As a Las Vegas resident, i would love to see Sacramento keep the A's. I hate the move to las vegas, the ballpark location, and the plans for it are a disaster. I would love an expansion team here, but preferably not on the strip. I know central locations are more valuable but the east side of Tropicana and Las Vegas blvd is probably the worst place to put a park.

I would think a team of your own would work much better. And a bit more remotely located away from the strip. What a dumbass idea that is.

Move the athletics to Sacramento permanently then let Las Vegas get its own team.

I believe MLB doesn’t want any team located in Oakland & prefer to have the Bay Area just a 1 team region only as I also think the SF Giants ownership wants the Bay Area to themselves. Las Vegas is a growing area but it’s also has tons of transplants from other areas. Also heard Las Vegas as a ton of Dodgers fans. Plus Dodgers already have a store in Las Vegas too. Putting an already existing team (aka - The A’s) would be a failure. They should get their own expansion team. Similar to the NHL’s Golden Knights, which has been a success. If MLB doesn’t want a team in Oakland than the next best thing is to keep them in Northern California is Sacramento. Non baseball fans in the Sacramento area would embrace it plus the area would support it too. But if John Fisher is still the majority owner, enthusiasm would die quickly.

State capitals, particularly ones that aren’t the largest city in the state, are almost always bad choices. When the biggest employer is the government, there usually isn’t sufficient corporate cash available to support the organization. I suspect Oakland fans would be as likely to support the Sacramento A’s as San Diego fans are to support the LA Chargers.

The Sactown area is my home region and my city. We are a baseball town, not New York StL Cinncy level but we are on, Sacramento is very underrated when it coems to teams and sports because we have 3 big brothers with SF LA and SD but we can show out. The Rivercats are a local icon for the city and we treasure the Kings with everything we have. You can watch Kings games and always see it jammed packed, this playin game today and the playoffzls last year can demonstrate how loyal we are to our professional teams because we take a lot of pride in them feeling like a small town which makes the community rallying behind it strong. A thing to remeber about MLB love is the Cats were the A's Minor Leauge team for many many years first, and in this area and I would say Northern Cal in a whole A's fans make up as much if not more then Giants fans. San Francisco is seen as the city like a big brother that gets everything while the A's being from Oakland feels like Sacramento in regards to being a small cowtown

I like a move to Sacramento more than Vegas (and certainly more than Utah). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but NorCal and the Central Valley are known as hot beds of baseball here on the West Coast. The A's owner said "Aaron Judge" while in Sacramento for a reason, he's from the area. I would use his name here locally if too if I was lobbying for an MLB Midnight Sun Game since he was a Pilot before a Yankee. Fyi, there has been some movement on rebuilding Mulcahy Stadium in Anchorage. I doubt it would be MLB level but they also have played games in a cornfield in Iowa. I'm hoping for an MLB affiliated game, could be NWL or PCL, in the new park eventually. An MLB regular season game would be a pipe dream. I'd take a KBO or NPB game too for sure. Great Video!

Vegas is far too transient to support an MLB team. There’s already so much going on there I just don’t see it even happening let alone supporting them. Maybe when the Yankees come to town or the Dodgers, who btw already has a big fanbase there, people will turn out. But no one wants to see the Brewers and A’s game. 81 games a year is a big ask for 31k people to buy a ticket to each one. The new will wear off quick.

Charlotte is an underrated city for an MLB team. Would probably be the biggest sports team in the state

We don’t want a permanent MLB team. We have a lot of other priorities.

I don’t see the point of playing in Sacramento at a minor league ballpark temporarily, when then can just play in Las Vegas at their minor league ballpark, temporarily…

Neither! When I get rich, I'm going to buy the Athletics and move them to Cheyenne, Wyoming, and rename them to the Wyoming Roustabouts.
