And so Future Trunks left to go check then came back having confirmed his timeline is essentially an alternate timeline that isn't directly changed by his actions in the past. The trick to fighting Dr Gero is literally just bloking whenever he does his absorption thing. Also a really good tip in general, every time an enemy’s aura gets red just don’t attack them because in that state they’ll have super armor and won’t be stunned by your punches. That just makes you an easy target for them.

For those who don't already know. Androids 19 and 20 were SUPPOSED to be the villains of this arc, and hence why they start out intimidating and strong. Until Kazuhiko Torishima, The Editor of Dragonball, went up to Akira Toriyama and said, "These aren't what I pictured for the next BIG Dragonball villains." Toriyama didn't have a back up plan, and made 17 and 18 in the span of a few days. Of course upon seeing their designs, Torishima replied...... "So now you made some brats the villains?" Toriyama THEN created the next big, and one of the most popular, antagonists in Dragonball.

Jack, when the enemy 'awakens', they get super armor, and cannot be flinched or interrupted. When they awaken, wait for them to fall out of it, don't even attack from a range. Also, do some more random encounters, you may notice that you're lower level than emost of the enemies, and that's a sign that you may need to level up a bit.

Hey jack been loving the playthru, but i wanted to let you know that the combos are a bit deeper than you probably know. You can press buttons during combos to add extra function to them. X/Square will add a ki blast to the combo, A/X will do a flurry of light attacks, and Y/Triangle will do a sort of AoE knockback, which also gives you a little bit of ki. Hope this makes the combat a little more interesting to you!

The biggest piss off about Kakarot that absolutely turned me off the game and made me regret buying is the fact that opponents frequently spam super armour and just can't be staggered while they do it, so none of your combos can hit home. Yet, you can NEVER gain super armour and you can ALWAYS be staggered and they can follow up with as many combos that they wanna land

Yep it's basically you playing tag with them or you yourself just spam a super attack like Vegeta's big bang until NPC does super armor spam ultimates, then you dodge till it runs out and back to spamming super attacks, and the fact if you want your stats to increase after level cap you have to basically just eat, like I get it you eat in real life after a hard workout and in time you grow stronger so your muscles can use the protein and nutrients to repair and grow muscles, but they took it way too far in the game.

If you want to use a ki move like galic gun, press X in mid B combo and then use it. If you want to use a melee move in mid combo press Y because it stuns the enemy to give you enough time to use a melee skill

For anyone playing this in the future, 20 does the grapple absorption after the mini cutscene and he is glowing red. When he isn’t red, he won’t do it. Also, you can break out of it by rotating the left stick. This fight isn’t really difficult, a lot of people just panic and don’t take the time to understand it.

Hell we see dende get blasted and he's a child. I think Vegetas injury from Krillin on namek was also shown a lot more. You would think those would boost up the age rating as most dbz games didn't show that. Took them forever just to show One armed Gohan since DBZ sagas on PS2.
