Vegeta doesn't hate his life, its just this family time stuff ain't for him but he definitely loves and wants to protect his family, also I think it is the speed of light whis staff goes at which.....doesn't make sense because both of them are billions of times lightspeed at least fighting speed. Maybe its just fighting speed though but then again they displayed multiple times there travel speed in Z and og DB. Also, I agree, beerus and whis make dragon ball super tolerable for me as well

Vegeta’s arms are always crossed, even when he’s doing stuff he enjoys, so that’s not really evidence that he hates spending time with Trunks and Bulma. 😂 Like Bulma said, it was surprising how long he lasted, which indicates family life is growing on him. He just has a laser-focused personality and a dog-eat-dog childhood. He’s still learning the value of taking it easy sometimes, like Goku does. That actually comes up as one of his weaknesses in Super, so while this episode may seem like filler, it’s actually setting up a main issue Vegeta will have to overcome throughout Super in order to become a better fighter. Super actually has a lot of character building moments like this in it. People just like to hate on it, rather than accepting that both Z and Super have their strengths and their flaws. I really don’t understand why people can’t just enjoy both for what they are. 🤷‍♀️

Cause some of the character building while not badly structured is misplaced like Goku's weakness that whis points out or (in the manga) his weakness that roshi points out. Some also believe that Vegeta solely focusing on being better than Goku is regression or rather character stasis and Gohan, well he just on repeat since the buu Saga, it's not as bad as some people say not even close but when someone says they don't like it or give reasons it does things badly then saying they're full of it and just like to hate it is more often than not just wrong as it has problems just as Z did, pretending it doesn't is delusion

I think you’re looking way too much into Vegeta being introduced in the 2nd ep just because Toriyama doesn’t like him. It was probably just out of convenience because they weren’t able to fit the Goku family moments and Vegeta family moments in 1 ep. They had to spread it out.

In a manga bonus chapter King Kai asked Moori to use the Namekian Dragon Balls to restore his planet. He wanted to make it bigger and have less gravity, but Goku dropped in and wished for it to be the same as it was. You’d think King Kai would’ve taken the chance to wish himself back to life.

Baris, Dragon Ball characters and especially Whis are way faster than the speed of light. In fact, the battles szenes in Z and Super are always shown in slow motion for the audience to see. They are billions or trillions times faster than the speed of light. One time the speed of light would be very slow to travel through the universe. Even one medium-sized galaxy would take 100.000 years to travel through at that speed and whis can travel through the entire universe (which consists of billions of galaxies) within minutes.

They most certainly do move faster than light. I checked how long it takes for the sun's light to reach certain places and my research indicates that : It takes sunlight 8 minutes to reach the Earth. It also takes 5 hours and a half to reach Pluto. Whis and Beerus change solar system / galaxies faster than this. While we don't know the exact location of King Kai's planet or Beerus', we know they can make that trip in 27 minutes (according to movie). So, unless they are basically neighbors, they HAVE to move faster than light to make that trip in time. P.S : Yeah, I know, got too much free time on my hands. lol

@@erevanthegamer4141 Raditz was confirmed to be faster than the speed of light and I think an official DB scan had Cell as fast as 150 million times the speed of light. Cell is slow and weak compared to the standards of Super or even late Z. I think they might be billions or trillions times faster than the speed of light at the bare minimum at this point. At the very least Whis is as he is untouchable and he can travel through an entire universe in minutes comfortably. Traveling through ONE galaxy at only the speed of light would take 100-400.000 earth years and there are BILLIONS of galaxies in the universe. As mentioned earlier, later in the show Goku surpasses time itself so all of this gets a bit irrelevant then.

The best way to describe it is that i would say vegeta 55% loves his family and 45% is completely uncomfortable and hates that lifestyle......while vegeta certainly does love his bulma and the rest of his family.....that lifestyle of doing things like going to the park and showing a softer side completely contradicts everything he was raised to believe and thus makes him uncomfortable. Unlike goku, vegeta completely grew up with that hardened Saiyan mentality, so showing emotion doesn't exactly come easy for him, if you watch the DBS Broly movie, you will somewhat see that Goku's Father is the exact same way.

People sad about vegeta not being on pair with goku you guys should watch the original Dragon ball, imo is the best of the series, at least my favorite, but there was a time when tien and roshi were the shit, krilin was also very good, and Yamcha wasnt such a pushover either. Not to mention Piccolo. The fights might not had been so over the top like in Z, but were awesome, more based on martial arts stuff, and there was choreograph fights that were amazing to watch even today. which speaks volumes of the animators way back in the 80s and 90s.

For super you really have to take the nostalgia glasses off to appreciate it as it's own thing. Z is great and nothing is going to touch it in the series at this point. When the show picks up the new arcs I think it'll be better but Super does have things I feel it does better than Z. People need to realize AT is already forgetful and there's been like a 20 year gap from the end of Z and the Super stuff. So it's not going to feel the same.

He is yet to have an actual moment where he outshines Goku or truly saves the day despite his brilliance and character growth. His only epic moment that wasn't ruined is defeating Android 19, but honestly, I think that's about it. All his other great moments were in vain.

Especially when you compare Stephanie Naldony as young Gohan to Colleen Clinkenbeard that does him in DBZ Kai and in all newer I.P's. And the reason WHY they changed the voice was really something absolutely petty too. Apparently after a break up, Stephanie Naldony's ex bf was bitter and worked behind the scenes to get her removed.

Umm... I can't speak for the Manga, but the show definitely does not hint at Vegeta ever surpassing Goku. At best, it's implied they're pretty much equal. And all Whis says about Vegeta's extra time with him before Goku joined him, is that Vegeta needed to catch up. And by the end of the shows run, they were both on their own paths to power, Vegeta on his way to ultra ego and Goku on his way to truly mastering ultra instinct

Oh yeah also with watching it in English versus in Japanese the stories slightly different considering that the translations are always a little different. I mean you could watch the exact same anime with subtitles provided by three different companies and you would still come out with three different storylines I mean there's still the same storyline but like individual parts might hit vastly differently due to it being a different translation. Also if you actually understand Japanese that will change your perspective on certain aspects of the show. So it's almost like you're watching the show for the first time in these recordings considering the fact that you haven't seen it in English before.

This is my issue with the Supreme Kai; he's utterly incompetent. He's actually worse that Ross from MCU. How does a person that utterly useless become the greatest most important Kai in the universe?? From his very first introduction he shows he's completely useless as a supreme being; not even being able to sense the power of the Saiyans and being afraid of creatures that quite frankly are absolute trash. And even NOW he's showing an total lack of anything close to awareness. It's as though he was just introduced to be a punching bag.

The voices changing a bit doesn't really bother me considering the fact that my voice isn't what it was 5 years ago or 10 years ago I mean it's fairly close and their voices are fairly close although it does bother me that the kids don't seem to age at all in this show I mean if you meet a 5-year-old and then meet them again one year later at 6 years old well they're going to look noticeably different at that point in their life I mean yes Vegeta and vulma and Goku and Chichi well their adults and they're not going to change too much however I'm very aggravated that the kids don't at least grow a little bit considering the dragon Ball super takes at least a year or two to fully happen considering all of the brakes that they toss into the show I mean not breaks but like breaks in between major story points.
