Its because the regulations around airing anime on television was changed to only have kid friendly anime before 10 o clock and thats why the manga has blood and the show has spit instead. A huge demographic for dragonball is kids now so i doubt the anime would go back to its old ways but the manga is super brutal if you want to check that out

Although I think it took multiple seasons for super to get decent music. And even then, 70% of it is just instrumental versions of the opening titles.

Well fun fact: Tate actually worked under Shimanuki during a lot of DBZ, and Tate actually animated the section from 9:16 - 10:09 in this video.

When the super Saiyan transformation happened originally the writers didn't explain it correctly because they said you had to be pure of heart but Vegeta was only pure heart of jealousy or hatred in himself for not becoming super Saiyan yet that's how he ended up becoming super Saiyan.

The Faulconer soundtrack genuinely feels like some kind of mystical space warriors. Made you feel like you were truly watching the two most powerful beings in existence, powerful enough to kill gods and destroy entire plants, fight to the death. But at the same time, watching a world where the most powerful technique, the spirit bomb, relies on the collective strength of many weak individuals. Feels spiritual almost, and the soundtrack captured that vibe so well.

Just an FYI: they aren't androids, but are closer to cyborgs, 'androids' was an early mistranslation for the english script that stuck with the english fanbase because it's how a lot of people grew up knowing them as, so the terminology remained despite being inaccurate. this is why 'android' 19 feels fear, because he was a person once, this goes for all the 'androids' you will see (with the exception of one or two, who I can't mention for spoiler reasons, one is very clearly different from everything else, and the other seems to be fully mechanical but just made to look human, so he would be a proper android)
