In this video we will get the body fully braced and ready to come apart. I'll try to take it apart nicely but I don't know if my patience will last. One way or another, it is coming apart. Amazon store: www.amazon.com...

Scott, one of the key points that sets your videos apart from others is that you don´t show the entire start to finish on threading and drilling and anything that takes a minute or two. I love the way that you show just enough of the drilling and threading to get the idea that is what is being done and then on to the next one. Of course, with 1.5k of the spot welds, don´t wear your editing out on it. Just go with the flow. Your videos have always been and continue to be excellent.

I vote to show a big sample of the drilling and popping the spot welds, but after a while, the sped up version is appreciated. If there's a particularly interesting or challenging one, slow it down to show that one, then speed it up again. I'm still scratching my head wondering how you're going to pull off jamming that big '15 inside the '65's skin!!! haha Love it!!!

You need a brake pipe spanner for the brake lines. I have imperial and metric sizes and it makes removing tight fittings a lot easier, whereas open-end spanners tend to butcher the nut. Having all your braces bolted on and not welded is an excellent idea. Not only are they able to be removed easily, it also preserves the body from unnecessary welding. The 66 is looking like Swiss cheese at the moment. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I know you put a whole lot of hours into what we see in a few minutes, but it always seems that the video is too short, as it's a really interesting project and I'm always looking forward to the next instalment. Stay safe and keep those videos coming. All the best from Australia.

Your very fortunate you have a pretty clean car to work on. My old 68 convertible on the other hand probably should of went to the crusher becouse it had holes in places big enough to throw a cat through the old fellow that had it totally restored it before me owning it must have really liked that car for some reason it was a mess. But on the other hand I did uncover it from its winter slumber kicked it in the ass put the top down and took it for a little ride. Sleepy time up here in the great rot box state is eight months out of the year by the way. I still though get a kick out of to my surprise some little kid on the sidewalk when I drive by yelling out" look a Mustang!!" Great video Scott ! 😁👍👍 I never heard a little kid yell out look a Camaro or Corvette or Chevelle 🤔 Must be a Ford thing 😁

18:08, Well, at least you're using earplugs. My Dad was under a truck doing some welding, and a couple sparks went into his right ear and burned a hole in his eardrum. He needed a few operations and he only regained partial hearing in his right ear. After that, my Dad always wore a hard hat liner that protected his ears & head. My two brothers and I did the same whenever we were working under a vehicle. I almost always wore safety glasses because I was a Machinist, so a bit of protection is never a bad thing.

I never got pneumatic drills, more so these days. So what we do is generate electricity, transfer that electricity through the grid, then convert that electricity into air pressure via the compressor, then haul out the air line, then convert that air pressure into rotational force. Or, use a cordless drill and drop the conversion of electricity into air pressure and just convert it to lower voltage electricity. The bonus? no honking big air line to trip over! I freaking hate cords and air lines...with every fibre of my being.......(more so since I took a header at a job site after tripping over one)
