I got to take a tour of Ford's River Rouge plant many years ago. The funniest thing I saw on the tour was near the end of the assembly line. The biggest guy on the line was putting the front fender emblem on with a large rubber hammer, he was hitting it hard enough for the fender to bow in and pop out again. Your remark about the hammer brought back memories of that tour.

Scott im not gonna lie. I like this back to basics garage build. I do hope you got your tools back or paid for those money makers. It is 110% evident i knew like 4yrs ago you were a very skilled craftsman. And you never disappoint with thw narration. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and be well.

This video makes me sad. Someone ran a red light last week and totaled my 89 LX 5.0 that I bought new. The day after I put it's antique tag on. But Hagerty has it's guaranteed value at $13,000. If I get that, it'll be more than I paid for it new. Wish you were here to fix it.

Hi there Scott, easy as pie when you do it right.I loved this work and wished I didn't get too old to do it. (retired 20 years ago). One thing I noticed was the number of spot welds, two or three times as I remember. keep up the good videos.

Great to see the Mustang getting back together again. One of these would be a perfect nice weather car for me, those 4 days a year when I could drop the top.... Nice to get to see the structure usually hidden from view. Thanks for another great video.

Take an end mill or broken drill bit to remove the weld thru primer off the spot weld area.you can drill it thru the punched hole so it just removes the weld spot.

Love watching how you get things done and you’re no bs attitude to everything, I really admire you work. This isn’t a dig at the job but there been a hell of a lot of work going into this reaper, is it worth it on a car like this. I love seeing cars being put back on the road and I think if it’s your car and you’re doing all the work then it’s no problem but this isn’t the kind of repair you would send to a body shop is it otherwise it would be very expensive

@jamestyndall529 you do know that the Chemical compound 2,4-D in Roundup is one of the base compounds used in Agent Orange, right?
@scottp5331
@scottp5331 29 күн бұрын
@@irongoatrocky2343 The two active ingredients in the Agent Orange herbicide combination were equal amounts of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T), which contained traces of 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD). The dioxin TCDD was an unwanted byproduct of herbicide production. Dioxins are pollutants that are released into the environment by burning waste, diesel exhaust, chemical manufacturing, and other processes. TCDD is the most toxic of the dioxins and is classified as a human carcinogen by the Environmental Protection Agency. Glyphosate (Roundup) was not used in Viet Nam. Glyphosate was synthesized in May 1970 and was tested in a greenhouse in July of that year. This led to glyphosate being patented as an herbicide in 1971 (US Patent No. US Patent No. 3,799,758) and introduced into the pesticides market in 1974 as a pesticide active principle under the trade name “Roundup®.”
