Damn, what a lovely car!! Did it felt not scary driving over a non flat road and was the 4wd adequate in controlling the power at the wheels? The acceleration seemed brutal! Great video again.

I must very deeply disagree with you on the sound of Porsche turbos. I absolutely love the sound on Turbos and Carreras especially older ones. An good Porsche engine is like music even in the more moderate 300-400 HP range.

It definitely takes a bit after you floor it for the acceleration to kick in but when it does, damn! I pretty much liked everything about the 997 more than the 996, but the manual gearbox gave it a different feel.

Porsche turbo's never really had a good sound? I don't agree with you on that, the 996 turbo from 2005 that my dad owns sounds amazing in my opinion. I can't really compare it to much, though, so to you it's maybe not that impressive compared to the others haha

Paul Citti From what I've heard it's because insurance is "cheaper" when you make a car with four seats instead of two. For instance, a Honda Accord coupe is more to insure than the sedan, even with the same powertrain, options, etc...

Hahahaha. Not only will the turbo s beat the GTR. It also isnt so fragile. You can use launch control again and again and again with no problems. 3 or so times in the GTR, and u go into limp mode.
