Cool review & I'm consider buy this EV truck.
@edntam4evr2 ай бұрын
The nice thing is that people can choose for themselves. If you don't like it don't buy it. There are plenty of people that want them. It's a good truck ok it's no big diesel but it's got a place in the market

And many people that can't even buy one , for some reason they hate it.

As a fan of the Chevy Avalanche, I'm happy to see that GM brought back the tech in the new EV Trucks. I'm also very impressed by the range offered on these "Max Range" trucks. so much more than the Cybertruck. Between the two, I definitely favor the Sierra EV. The only thing I wish the Sierra EV had was the Tesla charging plug, as I understand that GM will be moving to this standard soon, and I already have a Tesla charger at my home.

Great truck, sure; worth every penny, not even close (just too much money, even with these days of inflated dollars). And that goes for most new vehicles these days; they have escalated in price way and above the inflation of these past years.

should this be renamed to the GMC McKinley?

what is the real range... real world driving?
@jeremybroderick94652 ай бұрын
in 5 years the range on any EV is going yo make the useless especially if its a daily driver, Wie are already seeing Tesla models 18-20 that do not and will not ever make 200mi range without a full battery replacement then what???????
@dmitrydk922 ай бұрын
car battery will last up to 35 years, or around up to 500,000 miles
@SouthernGent442 ай бұрын
@@dmitrydk92 It may last 35 years, but will it continue to perform to its full potential? Will it give max range for most of its life?
@dmitrydk922 ай бұрын
@@SouthernGent44 some Tesla's have hundreds thousands of miles on their batteries and still have over 80% of capacity which is still usable

I would trust a General Motors EV over a Tesla EV anyday….Teslas have TERRIBLE quality.

I own one. The key fob is the worst part. It is useless and creates nothing but problems. GM needs to move to phone as a key tech like Tesla. The app is the second worst, followed closely by the UI programming. Other than those, it is a fantastic truck!

More of Show Off Truck than a Real Work Truck. Payload capacity is very small and not for Off Road use . I bought one 2 weeks back and wish had stayed with GMC Gas Truck instead... No massaging Seats , Awful Bose ( Premium ?? ) Audio / No reclining seats for $119K out the door ?. GMC is making too much $$$$$$ on this one for sure.

That thing looks horrible, the running boards looks terrible, the bed area is slanted, from the back to the front area, it looks like a slight hill & the front grille looks horrible, the 2024 sierra 1500 elevation puts that to shame.😮😮

It's a SUV ppl!!! This is not a truck!! A truck has a separate box that can be replaced with a dump box, utility box or a flatbed!!! This is an a-EValanche. It may be kind of cool and have some unique options, but can it tow 13-35k? Is its payload 2k+?? Does it come in 2500 or 3500 models?? Can it tow a fifth wheel......my 2015 1500 can? PPL let's get real......if they would have advertised it as an A-EValanche I would not of had an issue with this and it was also had a price tag of $45k+. Unfortunately, the prices, the capacity and capabilities limit this as did the original avalanche. I am a GM fan, but I think barra needs to be replaced with someone who makes traditional GM advertising pitches and productivity.......reliable, affordability and sensible transportation. This is another step in the wrong decision to provide too expensive, outlandish and unnecessary vehicle propositioning to the public!
