@fcukugimmeausername6 жыл бұрын
Uh... maybe, but these days it looks like a piece of crap with that plastic kit on.
It's just so insane to see a F-40 being used like that. The F-40 has become such an insanely expensive collectible that the simple ideia of driving one (let alone racing in one) seem scary enough already. It's so nice to see a F-40 running like it should run, and when all of the horsepower were still there because, honestly, I doubt that a collection F-40 with 5k miles on the clock will run like it used to run in its heyday - all those years with so little mileage doesn't make good for the car. And we can see how the F-40 lived up to its hype and was just so fast for a 80's car, being able to outaccelerate a pimped up 500+hp Supra.

The tuning here seems quite primitive compared to the tuned demo cars of today. 750-1000+HP is nothing unusual for A80 Supras. ...and not just in power, but looking at the way the vehicles moves and puts its power to the ground, even the suspension and tires seem primitive by today's standards. Tuning street cars was more of an adventurous thing back then. But....something lost when something gained. It's amazing how sophisticated tuning houses have come from what they were.

The sound of turbo spooling up and blow off valve sound so exaggerated. Like it's turned up to max and then some. So loud. This is what I imagined 90s Japanese sports cars sounded like, gtr,GTO, supra and 300zx. The magic of turbocharged cars in 90s.

I think we have come a long way not just as a consumer. We changed the Honda game in the US when started modifying the little cars. We moved up to the highest performance of Japan and have created beautiful machinery. Think about this my CRX with a B16 swap and some tuning netted me a 13.6 quarter mile time think about that for a moment while a Supra 500 +plus was reaching 13.2 and the F40 13.2 . We continue building them until legendary status is achieved and where not just Ferraris rank up the charts
