I found Rupert's example of the flower, viewing it from one point of view vs all possible points of view, really interesting. From one point of view, the flower is clearly defined, whereas from infinite points of view superimposed on one another, there is no-thing. Without the finite mind, there would be no flower, no creation, no manifestation. So apparent separation isn't a curse but a blessing, allowing consciousness to express itself in an infinite number of ways. Separation isn't something to be gotten rid of, but simply seen through. Beautiful. Thanks Al ❤️

I have come to this conclusion long ago. I consider the moment of that realisation important in one's life. Now I take in all experiences with great enthusiasm because it is all that I as the Infinite Consciousness willingly wants to subject itself to.

Interestingly, I’ve felt I’ve sat in infinite Conciousness many times and it’s always black, no thing, but boundless awareness. So I love this, thanks Rupert 🙏🏼💙

I have started to live in the HERE AND NOW enjoying each moment in the fullest. I consider the moment of the realisation that "the 'I' as the never changing Witness Consciousness alone is one's true identity " is important in one's life. Now I take in all experiences with great enthusiasm because it is all that I as the Infinite Consciousness willingly wants to subject itself to. The so called illusory mind is the only thing that judge an experience as pleasant or unpleasant and thus suffer in the process of running towards it or away from it. Rupert indeed is the Master of Analogies. The flower analogy and paper analogy are the proof for the same.

Who is the one who is angry over not coming up with ‘viewing the flower from infinite vs. finite perspectives’ analogy?! 😂 Brilliant! Thank you! ❤

Thank you Alan. Consciousness manifesting in its self to wake up to itself. Beautiful! 🙏🏻❤️

Questionner's question: "How could a finite mind, no matter how refined, or a lineage of finite minds, suggest this is known; how would finite minds know this by experience?" Ruoert's answer: "Because the knowing with which the apparently finite mind knows it's finite knowledge, is not itself finite. The knowing with which King Lear knows his experience has nothing to do with the character of King Lear - it belongs to John Smith. King Lear feels:"I know my experience", but that "I" belongs to John Smith, not King Lear. So the "I" in each of us that knows or is aware of our finite experience is itself infinite consciousness." Thankyou Questionner, thankyou Rupert and thankyou Alan. That was so clear and so essential. 🙏🏼💜

In my opinion in the analogy, the innumerable circles on a white paper need not be in perforated lines considering the Infinite Consciousness being the subtratum of all circles. The Pure Consciousness need not necessarily pass through the perforated lines to an individual's mind. If the circles are perforated there is the possibility of one's individual thoughts in his mind will leak through the perforation and will be known to other individuals. Each mind is accessible only to that separate self and ti the Infinite Consciousness only and not to the other minds.

For me it is always helpful to understand this very important teaching of Rupert is that in the waking state it is universal consciousness the one who is dreaming We as individuals are nothing else than one of the many character in the dream

Why does consciousness localise itself only to spend time trying to get back?
