Vekoma trains: Netherlands. Tracks: China and The Netherlands. (Also, Vekoma has a special contract with Disney, just like arrow had back in the days.)

I have to say our family Vekoma, Rookie Racer, at SFSTL is super smooth and better than I expected it to be. And I enjoyed Good Gravy at HoWo.

Vekoma learned and got better. B&M slacked off and got worse.

Could not agree more. Vekoma is on a hot streak. B&M has been falling for quite some time now. Banshee at KI it can be hit or a complete miss with the rattle. Even Diamondback has a pothole or two. These coasters are over ten years old, but the even older B&Ms are smoother. Orion seems to run pretty smooth like a B&M should behave. Bring on Vekoma it's time for a new champ.

I always heard rumors that the soil at kings island isn't ideal which is why almost all the steel coasters there aren't entirely smooth

My only thing is that a lot of the vekomas I have seen don't have that, for lack of a better word, gimmick like a lot of B&Ms. I feel like in Europe people are more receptive to "this is a just a super good coaster with no frills." Than us in the states. We like our coasters to have a new word in front of it like "dive" or "wing" or "tilt." Not saying vekoma isn't capable of producing those sorts of rides, but it's just a question of if the ones they make catch on or not. I do think the cedar fair portion of six flags is rapidly approaching, if not already passed the point of turning B&M into the modern 90s vekoma in the sense of over saturation of a single ride model, but that might just be the uppity enthusiast part of my brain...I just want one year without a new dive that goes 1 degree steeper.

Gimmicks definitely do sell.

Hell yes, Vekoma is awesome now. Brand new B&Ms are rougher than most of their 20yo ones, every Dive coaster does almost nothing after the drop, Immelmanns suck.

It seems that way to me.

If Vekona track is made in China, get ready for the big tme Trump import tax.

Maybe they could use their Eastern European plant to avoid the stupid tariffs

any "steel" manufactured in China is "crap", similar to other products. Japan has been attempting to purchase U S Steel for a year now.

B&M is doing fine but they need to start making coasters that are as smooth as Pandemonium of Mako again I really want to see more hypers and gigas
@BeachcliffStudios15 сағат бұрын
You’d think they would if something didn’t change
@mythicgamingmk110515 сағат бұрын
@ they got to do something because amusement parks are getting more popular every year
@mythicgamingmk110517 сағат бұрын
I think Vekoma could start making hypers but not like B&M. If B&M could get it toegether then Vekoma and B&M could be two amazing coaster manufactures

Vekoma has hypers in Europe

@@BeachcliffStudios No they don't. the tallest Vekoma in Europe is a Giant Inverted Boomerang with spikes under 180 feet. Iron Rattler, the Tilt Coaster going to Six Flags Qiddiya City will be their first coaster over 200 feet, but it's in Asia, not Europe.

B&M needs to update their website it soooo outdated and dull looking it's not even funny.
@lizardboy2089Күн бұрын
Quit complaining about Rapterra. No one has even done it. And, it's not easy to make perfectly straight track, plus with heat the track expands and contracts. Lastly, its a wing coaster, so any tiny fluctuations in straight track are much more noticeable. Iron Menace is a different thing though.
