dude i think you bring something honestly unique to Vektor. More dynamics in playing if you ask me. Having a bigger setup to work with means more to use to setup Vektor's new work

Good on you, great play-through, but... some fans cannot support Vektor in good conscience anymore. For those who choose to, that’s your prerogative.
@joshd76213 жыл бұрын
Those who support them are supporting the entity known as vektor. Not the actions done by individual band members. Kinda like those who supported AILD when Tim put a hit on his wife. You can still enjoy a bands music without promoting the members or their personal life. If people liking bands because their members are "good people" was the case, metal would have absolutely no fanbase.

@@joshd7621 The problem with the whole “separate the art from the artist” rhetoric is that it’s impossible to do so. Art is always a projection of the person behind it no matter what. I love Vektor with a passion but David’s actions have really fucked things up. There is no room for abuse in the metal scene and it’s a huge dilemma for me and many fans.
@joshd76213 жыл бұрын
@@suylyath2658 that's not always the case like you say. Slayer was one of the most violent, satanic sounding bands of it's era, all while araya was a devout catholic. None of metallica's music ever said anything about any kind of alcohol abuse during their time as AlcoholicA. There is a difference between artists and what their art portrays. Vektor never said anything about allowing abuse in any of their songs. If that were the case, that song would have killed them before the videos surfaced. You can like music and art without liking the artist as a person and still enjoy their works. It's unfortunate you can't disassociate art from the artist but I can, and will continue to do so. Like I stated, if we only like metal bands for them being good people, there would be infinitely fewer bands to choose from 🤷♂️

@@suylyath2658 It's pretty obvious that his wife talked bs since he got no charges and the only evidence of actual abuse is him throwing a pillow

@@uroboric Shhh, let the narrative continue. This band doesn't need people who are willing to destroy livelihoods based on face-value evidence to project a self-satisfying moral high ground anyway.
