I had a male mouse that was very much a velcro mouse, he'd come up to the top of his cage to say hi anytime he heard my voice. He was also an escape artist but thankfully he was easy to catch as he'd come right back up to me. I miss having mice.

So many videos lately! My wife and I really wish we could raise some amazing mice like yours. We are kind of reluctant to get store-bought pets nowadays and can't find a reputable breeder. Keep up the awesome work!

After having both breeder and rescue mice I can honestly say wait for the right breeder! Health problems are so much more abundant with pet store mice and if you have a group of 6+ like I do, you could be dropping $500+ in vet bills at a time. I hope you guys are able to find a breeder near you soon, mice are amazing!

I'm surprised all your pet stores are closed. I would have thought they are considered to be essential because they sell pet food. I hope you have luck finding mice from shelters. My shelter often has rats and mice. Hamsters aren't given up so often.

@Buttered Lumps Thank you. You give me hope. Bug is a dwarf, I'm not sure what type, but right now, he has little needle teeth, and he's not afraid to use me as a chew stick. I get my pats in after I distract him with a treat. I love him anyway, I just have to be cautious.

@Buttered Lumps Wonderful advice and memories. My younger sister always seemed to pick out the sleepy hamsters, while I got the ones that had found a source of hamster caffeine somewhere...no relaxation from them! Susan used to punch a hole in her pillow for her hamster, who would then drop off to sleep. I admit, I was very jealous of her skill with her beasties.
