J'écoute par hasard, je découvre et je trouve cette œuvre très belle. Un magnifique romantisme "classicisé" qui fait penser au concerto 5 de Saint-Saëns. Une vigueur d'orchestration remarquable. Schoenberg avait raison. Il y a encore beaucoup de belle musique à composer avec les gammes tonales ! Merci pour cette découverte. Cette partition a vraiment "de la gueule" comme on dit en français...

Nice. To much incidental music for me. Very good orquestration. Richard Burton entering Rome...maybe another epic actor or actrees . Maybe Cleopatras first victory... For the people who's entering this kind of music will enjoy this work.
