I have always loved STING, and his music, especially this song for so many reasons. Those reasons changed dramatically when my darling cousin , dying from cancer @ 54 yrs old was in my care, and she loved Sting as well. She passed away in my arms 2 yrs ago to this song...I am certain that she indeed now, walks in fields of gold. His music brought her incredible comfort....Many thanks....I will always remember you!

i was the gardener,at the house where this song was recorded, i worked for member of the Bailey family who owned it before this recording,Sting bought it in early 1990's when Trudy rode on the horse, best song he ever made,love to meet them both and go back to "lodge cottage" which was home ""cum lake""
