I think the school Hyunjin went to was a vocational one as opposed to a regular one. I’m not really sure how it works in South Korea but his school was specifically for arts. A lot of celebs have been to that school so I think rather than being forced by the company, he was saying how he chose to go there so he could learn the arts better.

Grow up is actually part of their debut album I am Not!! I believe the only two songs you haven’t heard from go live are Mixtape: Gone Days and Mixtape: On Track which are both singles. Gone days has two mvs so I recommend you check out both and On Track has one mv :) gone days is an ok boomer song and on track was a gift to stays on their anniversary this March!! Because in life is a repackage, it has all of the go live tracks minus the Japanese releases and the two mixtapes. Also the song “the tortoise and the hare” on the in life album is the full version of “go live” on the go live album so you can check out “go live” for a different perspective of the song :D ALSO their new album all in will only have three new tracks, all in, fam and one day. The other four are gods menu, back door, slump, and top Japanese versions! The full album will release on November fourth. Sorry Twas a lot of information lol

Idols actually do go to school! High school aged idols usually attend school while being, well, an idol. There are also a lot of idols with bachelors and masters (I don't know which is higher than the other, but I can think of quite a few idols that have undergrad and graduate degrees). Apparently, going to school pushes back your military time (it's mandatory for men in Korea). Hyunjin meant (2:28) that he didn't need to go to an arts *high school* , he simply chose to do so.

about the school things, underage idols are required to go to school however they dont need to major/graduate in arts, hyunjun went to one of the biggest art schools in korea (sopa) bc he wanted to (he graduated in dance if im not mistaken), sopa is famous for having thousands of idols, there they can specify in what the prefer (being dancing singing acting...)

Guuuys, dont fight... It IS I am You MV behind the scene, but it IS ALSO true that Astronaut is meant to mimic/ reminisce what has happened in I Am You, so the confusion is understandable. You guys look cute even when you fight 😂 😂 😂 The theories of Stray Kids' Universe are vast and can get overwhelming (every MV story is related to each other and each MV is the continuation of the previous one... you get the gist). So, next time you guys feel you've seen/heard something somewhere, YES, you probably have. The frame/scene/musical beat/lyrics you feel you've seen/heard may BE from that exact same SKZ video/song, or they may BE NOT -- but it's understandable if it can feel like deja vu, haha. Chan and SKZ might have planned out their whole career by now. Even beyond their 7 years contract. 😂

They required to go to the school, but not required to go to art school, but a lot of idol prefer go to art school because the system is more tolerate and suit to their idols life. I think changbin and chan went to normal school, minho went to vocational school, hamn and felix i think they dont finished/ or just took test as they from abroad

I think all idols are required to continue school and even graduate from high school, since they mostly have young fans in SK, it would set a bad example if they dropped out (btw this isn't my personal opinion, just the way companies and the general korean public thinks)

Actually, graduating high school is even more important for kpop trainees. Grades and attendance are taken into account and can influence their "ability" to debut. I remember that some companies send trainees back if they are unable to obtain certain marks. BUT if a trainee joins the company after graduating, his curriculum doesn't really matter.

To answer your question: No, trainess/ idols are NOT required to go to school. Many decide not to go to high school. Even more decide not to go to college. Chan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, and Seungmin are high school graduates. Felix went to school in Australia and most probably took the high school equivalency exam (so he could graduate sooner and go to Korea to start training in JYP). Jeongin is going to graduate in February 2021. Jisung did not finish high school (if he wanted to, he could take the equivalency exam, I suppose. But, it's ok too if he doesn't want to/ doesn't feel it's necessary). As you guys know, currently, Seungmin and Hyunjin are attending university.
