Dimash is unbelievable! He sings in every genre. He sings in at least 13 different languages. He plays at least 7 different instruments. He can sing very low and very high. Olimpico is a good song to hear highs and lows. His highest note is off the keyboard. You can hear that in a song called “Unforgettable Day” at Gakku. He even raps! Look at Dimash’s official video called, “Be with Me” for rapping ability. I can tell you that every song suggestion you get is going to be a great suggestion so take your pick. Dimash has loyal fans all over the world he calls his “Dears.” I’m a 67 year old Dear and my preferred genre is R&B but I love me some Dimash! 😄.

Btw, he crosses every genre from Opera to Rap and the only thing you can take for granted is that he will surprise you in every single song. His Kazakh folk songs hit straight to the heart. His latest song Weekend was yet another trip into a new style being a dance track that has taken the summer festivals by storm. I would really recommend listening to Ikanaide, sung in Japanese, Samaltau and Durdaraz, sung in Kazakh, Stranger and Your Love, sung in English. Most people will direct you to his older high octane songs but to get an idea of the full gamut he covers, you need to listen to some of his beautiful midrange work too, plus his OSTs he's done for movies and video games, his pop work and his beautiful Kazakh folk songs.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan, but here he is singing in French, one of the 15 languages he has sung in. Yes, he's had classical training but followed that with a bachelor's degree in contemporary, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD this year. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. Greetings from America!!! Yes, Dimash is classically trained. He is from Kazakhstan. He began his music studies at the age of five, spending half days with academics and half with music. His piano teacher found that he had perfect pitch when he was three. Even now, he still does vocal training for 3-5 hrs. a day every day. He said sometimes more when a concert is upcoming. Anything you choose to hear next will never disappoint. Some suggestions from me would be Adagio, Sinful Passion, Your Love, Stranger, Love Is Like A Dream, The Show Must Go On, and from his performance on "The Singer 2017, All By Myself, and "Unforgettable Day. I love first reactions to Dimash and you are in for the most amazing musical voyage ever. Anxiously looking for more of you continuing to be "Dimashified." He has two degrees in music and sings in 14 languages but speaks Kazakh, his native language, Russian, and is getting better with English and Mandarin.

Welcome to the phenomenon that is Dimash. He really is a once-in-a-lifetime artist who wull continue to amaze you with every performance. He has a reported 7.2 octave range to his voicd and, yes, he has trained in Opera as well as jazz and pop. He was offered a place in Astana Opera House but wanted to pursue a cross-over style and performs in many genres including Opera, pop, rock, folk, jazz and he even raps and does it all perfectly. He is also a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He had a worldwide fan base and is also the most humble, caring and down-to-earth young man. I'm sure you will have lots of suggestions for more songs so I would suggest Stranger, Olympico, Sinful Passion and Ave Maria (not the one you're probably thinking of). This was created during the pandemic. He has a complete digital concert. This is in French. He is from Kazakhstan, so his native language is Kazakh. He is fluent in Russian, speaks English well and is learning Mandarin. He sings in 13 languages, including Alien (Diva Dance from the 5th Element). He plays 7 instruments and is currently working on his PhD in Composition. He has had extensive training, but cannot be boxed into one genre. He does pretty much everything except American Country as far as I know. He has an extensive catalog and you simply cannot go wrong regardless of what you choose next. This song is in French, and is from a French rock opera called "Star Mania." It is considered Dimash's signature song. It was the first song he performed on the Chinese competition show, Singer 2017. He was the first foreigner and the youngest singer in the history of the show, and blew the audience, and the world away performing this song.
