When using the ISOfix base, you do not use the seat belt : )

Yes this seat is rear facing only. You do not need to use the seat belt if you are using the isofix base and fitting it using the isofix connection.

I installed exactly like yours but I end finding out it moves up, like I can move up the base plus the bb seat, is that normal? Is yours moving up as well? Thanks.

Hi Jose, thanks for your comment. It is had to help you without seeing the base in person. We would suggest that you report this to the retailer who you purchased from and they should be able to help you. We hope you get this sorted.

When putting the car seat on the base it does not click into place, instead we have to press the grey button and it then clicks in. Is this normal?

You don’t have to get the isofix base, can just use seatbelt if you want

Thanks for the helpful video. I wish I had it that easy to install the base but not thanks to a manfucture design. My base looks different maybe an older model. It has two big grey levers when pushed towards the front of the car they unlock the metal clips of the base. For the life of me the base would not lock into place because of the design of these grey clips. The seat cushions would push the clips towards the front of the car making the clips unlocked. I tried to push the base towards to back of the car while the cushions would push the grey clips towards to front of the car. Who would design it like this. So with bloody fingers I managed to keep the grey clips stable and managed to clip the base on. WHY WOULD YOU DESIGN IT LIKE THIS it doesn't seem safe if the cushion of the seat would unlock the base. Surely the grey clips should unlock the base from the other direction towards the back of the car. It wasn't an easy task to lock it in but but it was too easy to unlock it. This makes me feel that the base would unlock while the car is moving

On the iso fix base it shows attaching the seatbelt aswel as the clips, just wondering why you didn't do this ?

This base is a universal base, you can fit it with the isofix or with a seat belt, it is not neccesary to use both oprions at one time.
